Blackpool & Fleetwood Tramway: Bank Holiday Monday 28th August 2023 - Gynn Square to Blackpool Tower

On Summer Bank Holiday Monday, 28th August 2023, we ventured out onto Blackpool Promenade between North Shore, Gynn Square and Blackpool Tower to film the trams in operation which were:
Bombardier Flexity 2 service trams: 001* 003AD* 006 012AD 014 015 016AD* 017* 018
Heritage service: 680 700 717 718 F736 with 711 as the tram shop at North Pier & Tower passing loop.
We captured 700 making a rare manoeuvre: having entered the North Pier & Tower loop and parking behind tram shop 711, it then had to change ends to go south running "bang line" on the northbound track to use the southern North Pier & Tower crossover before continuing south. As usual, the heritage trams were extremely dirty and carrying very small passenger loads but, in general, most likely due to the weather, Blackpool was pretty quiet anyway.
The nine Bombardier Flexity 2s were more than coping running every 15 minutes, a far cry from the early 1990s when around 50 trams would have been in service and running with very good loads.
We took photographs of Blackpool Transport PALLADIUM Citaro 555, one of only a handful left, and ADL E200, 230, back in service after its accident earlier in the year at the Savoy Hotel. Stagecoach ADL E400, 15855 (VX62CYG) sporting the local livery was on service 68 from Preston to Blackpool.

Just to upset the purists..... I have to admit that all I use these days is the total superb camera provided on the Samsung S23 Ultra phone.
My digital cameras are now gathering dust as they cannot compete with the S23 Ultra!!

So tomorrow is the day when they start driving training along Wolverhampton station Which means tram not operate from St George’s to the Royal Transworld operate from the Royal to Edgbaston Village

But I can tell you which other trams, I like elsewhere Edinburgh, trams Nottingham trams because I’ve been seeing those videos on TH-cam also Blackpool trams as well
