I have several Athlon scopes. I had issues with the Argos BTR Gen 1 scopes, and I sent them back and they replaced all of them with Gen 2 scopes. They stand behind their warranty. Nice video, and it was great to meet you at RMAC.
I picked up the 36mm Leg edition. I had the same issue with the arca head bolt and added some thread locker to it after it came loose (and that was after shooting off of it. I have not retested it since. I have otherwise been extremely impressed and since it is my first tripod to get this setup at a very nice cost I'm very happy.
I got a artcise a couple years ago and it has been great. When I first got it one of the nuts felt a little gritty. I emailed artcise and they sent me 3 complete new full legs which is almost the whole tripod and they are lifetime warranty.
Cool stuff man, is there a chance you could do a table top of the ball head and how it locks up in the base/plate that it uses? or do an overview of other attachments we could use on it?
Are the ball heads the same on both? It looks like they have a separate ball tension adjustment which many of the cheaper heads are missing. It’s nice to be able to set that and then use the big knob as a lock and unlock
It's a shame that NRL22 doesn't allow tripods on stages (unless it's an NRL22X match). Then again, it does keep the cost down and also keeps "gaming" to a minimum. We don't have a large PRS Rimfire presence in the Southwest region. The new Athlon tripods do look like decent value given the included ballhead and accessories. Curious to see how they hold up. I'm currently sporting a Two Vets QDT which has been outstanding. Let us know how these hold up. Cheers.
I bought the CF29 and CF32. I’m happy with the product however from the factory when I’d use the pan feature with the slightest friction the whole head would start unscrewing at the base. I had to turn the friction all the way up and then really snug up that head. Happened on both models. Also on both models both sets of bubble levels completely just fell out, idk what kind of junk adhesive they use at the factory, it looks like wood glue, it’s dried a tan color. I reapplied them with some loctite super glue gel which is what they should use from the factory, they’re cemented in there now. Even for the cheapest tripods no one should have to worry about bubble levels coming unglued. That’s just unfortunate.

Been binge watching all your videos to make my 1st CZ choice purchase Can you do a comparison test CZ 22 vs CZ 17 WSM But starting the range test at 200 yards all the way out to 375 yards group shots Than watching some guys in Europe using the CZ 17 shooting rabbits out of 375 yards.

Good review...I also have the Athlon 32 and it is a great tripod. It supports my massive RPR 300 win mag without issue.
Love the channel - thanks

Ninjabread, it looks very similar to the innorel range of tripods. Look them up on amazon, they come in around the 450 mark for us aussies 👍
Super nice tripods!
u ever shoot or shot a Steyr .22?
I have not
Nice peace of gear josh
What do you think of the Athlon vs the Sunwayfoto tripod Josh?
Both are good, edge definitely to the sunway on price to performance
Thank you Josh! I will be making a decision and ordering one or the other. Do you happen to have an affiliate link to either?@@PursuitofAccuracy

Do u like the tripod caddy and still use it? I have been looking at getting one.
I do. Its on whatever tripod i take to the match without fail.
I love how "affordable" starts at $750 and goes up from there.
Nice tripod
