You inspired me to pick up a sample of Peregrina and I took one sniff - immediately ordered a full bottle! The last one I experienced love and first sniff was Bouquet Ideale. I received it from my Scentbox sub and instantly knew it needed to be a full size for my collection. There's nothing like falling in love
Bouquet ideale is my favo of the casamorati line.. oh my i love it i love it. I get the same red berry pastry vibe. Beautiful scent. Initio Rehab is also beautiful scent that reminds me of a favo male scent of Viktor & Rolf spicebomb edt grey bottle they smell the same.
I agree with birth of venus and peregrina! I did not love bouquet ideal, celeste or rehab though. Other loves that are more recent releases are wavechild, peach’s revenge, and dolce melodia.
Love at first sniff list: Angelique Noir, Lira, Ivory Route, Side Effect, Herod, Vanille Insensee, Iris Malikhan, Muscat. There. I had to go ahead and cut it off at 10. These fragrances will make my eyes roll back, kind of a physical reaction. Pure loves, that I didn't have to "learn to love".
I do like Bouquet Ideale but Dolce Amalfi is my top Xerjoff, probably my top ever fragrance. Byron's Chronic Rouge Extreme is my fave from the house but will be getting the new Mula! x

I can’t pin point it to anything exactly, it’s very sweet, juicy and fruity. I don’t have anything quite the same in my collection. Sorry I know that’s not super helpful
Parma's Violet is not an English thing: You have it because you buy it from Italy because that specific violet blooms only in Parma, which is a beautiful city in the central part of Italy! Instead I am genuinely surprised who can find them even in England, but certainly you are not the Country where those little “gems” are born: they are an Italian delicacy 💯
This may shock some but I’m new to fragrance and I’m in my 50’s. I don’t know where to start. One reason is I can get headaches from scents so it could get pricey to experiment. Any beginner recommendations that get complements but not too strong? Thanks
I suffer with migraines so I completely understand. Are there any perfumes you’ve worn in the past that you like? Do you have a preference in terms of sweet, spicy, floral, fruity, fresh, musky etc?
I like fresh, fruity and vanilla scents. I’m not a fan of florals unless they are lighter like Marc Jacobs daisy. Honestly I haven’t had a lot of experience because I’m so scared of getting a headache. I just bought the coco musk everyone is talking about and I had to wash it off. It seemed too strong but I’m going to let us macerate and see what happens. Maybe I sprayed too much I don’t know. I only put it on my arms one spray each.
I do like musk but the musk in Juliette has a gun wears weird on me. If you have any suggestions I can then get some samples from scent split and see before buying a bottle. Thanks for responding.
To prevent headaches, only spray on Back of your neck, wrist, and behind knees. People will still smell your fragrance, and you won't overwhelm your own nose
I think it’s a little feminine however the Man who served me in selfridges was wearing it and he smelt amazing! Hence me buying it. If you enjoy sweet rose it’s worth sampling
Hayley, I really appreciate the work you put into your content, I think your videos have a high production quality and you are enjoyable to watch. Here is one thing that could be improved upon. You so often mispronounce names of fragrances and brands 😭😭 You state that Bouquet Ideal is your fragrance for life while grossly mispronouncing it in the same breath. I know you don’t speak French and you don’t need to. But girl, you have google right, and fragrance review is what you do. So I think you could put in a little extra effort and learn how to say the names accurately. It’s not that hard. No offense, no disrespect, but it’s just really grating hearing you butcher them every single video. Also, it would be refreshing if you could also express why you don’t like certain scents. You seem to like a lot of them, and everything is amazing and beautiful, and everything is the most gorgeous smth or rather. How is that even possible ? A little straight talk would be nice. 😊
I prefer to keep my channel positive. There are plenty of fragrances I dislike, it’s a personal choice not to bash them online. I will sometimes talk about fragrances that do not work for me but I will always mostly discuss fragrances I love. I have videos on my channel talking about fragrances that did not work for me but as I mentioned most videos will be positive. In terms of the pronunciation, when I film a video I have limited time. I put in a lot of effort to be able to create as much content as I do with a very busy schedule, so you telling me to put in more effort is very insulting to be honest. This isn’t my full time job, this is a hobby. I often pronounce English words incorrectly too due to my accent. If you find me grating in every video, I would suggest not watching as this is a positive space.
Actually don’t tell me incase I’m encouraged to buy I already spent so much this year on fragrance 😅 I don’t buy makeup or clothes though so I figure it works out 😂😊
