Nice little bike, sounds great! Take that case cover off and bring it to a prop repair shop and I’m almost positive they could repair it for relatively inexpensive. Definitely worth fixing. I had a 79’ cr250r Elsinore. Great bike!! Wish I still had it.
FYI the number pate are not original, they are not zip ties to the frame. There are rubber straps that connect to stay on the frame that hold it down on the bottom and they are wedged under the seat tubes. Those number plates are for a 1974-75.
Well the reason theres zip ties is because I don't have the rubber straps. The Number plates were in a box next to the bike when i purchased it. I've recently purchased a brand new set of correct plastics. So hopefully it will look correct once its done.
