I love Michelle. She's made me feel pretty when no one else could. Because of her, I've been able to reach out and try my own styles. It's 2015 now, and I won't lie or go into detail, but I've been through a lot. But Michelle and Markiplier help me make it through. Thanks for being so beautiful inside and out, Michelle.

I was 15 and now 27! I got my first foundation when i was that age. And didnt know how to use it. But there was this video. And i still remember, every morning before school i did my make up at the same time with this video. Love it to see the video is still on youtube. And wow you have been such a big make up artist now. Very nice! Greets from the Netherlands

I've only recently started using foundation on a regular basis, so this really helped. The tip to wet the sponge so it absorbs less makeup was great!

great video, i know that this is a tutorial for us how to put a foundation but you dont need foundation at all, you have gorgeous skin and face...love your tutorials :)
Okay, so I always have trouble putting on my foundation, I have powder, and this helped A LOT! My mom was telling me how to put it on, and she doesn't really WEAR makeup, and she's not really good at it either, so I really needed to learn how. Thanks Michelle Phan!

I thought Asian was like Vitmanese , chinese, Japanese, Phiilipino, etc. I myself is part phillipino & mongolian.

@SammieIona I agree, the hands are usually darker than the face and testing foundation on the jawline is a great technique. I used to have different tints of foundation, but now I use physician formula mineral wear face powder. It is light on the skin and doesn't feel dry. Works on different color skins. My sister-in-law is very pale and my sister is dark brown blends nicely on both of them and even out the color on their skin.
Thank your for ur advise! By the way, using brush and using sponge to blend the foundation, which would be better???

nice tutorial! I used liquid foundation for awhile, but I finally found a powder foundation perfect for me by Sonia Kashuk! so happy! It doesn't make my face look cakey,gives me really good coverage, and lasts throughout the day :D

i tried using a lot of different kinds of brushes for foundation, but i always end up coming back to the wet sponge method. It's really the best way to blend the foundation without caking up. :D
