I love how you've properly stripped out the guitar melody of the original song and brought it to a proper counter melody (like all Deftones songs). This is no small thing! Also how this is pre White Pony style Deftones.
That open bar strum is so Stephen but was thinking it might have been cool to use harmonics during that part of the song where there is a bunch of open bar strums in close secession to get the full Stephen effect.
