Elkhorn was labeled in the wrong place on the map. The marker was over Fremont, which was not hit by a tornado.

Ryan Hall Y'All's YT channel was covering this in granular detail (down to which streets were going to be hit next, warning people) for over 10 hours, streaming live the whole time. He does the BEST job covering these disasters before they happen, saving lives, and then donates money afterwards to victims. What does FOX do? Make money off the disaster but does the billionaire owner of Fox help out?

Look for areas affected if they’re seeking local volunteers to help
Donate. We have had a state tornado response team of volunteers since Hallam. As in any disaster ...money is needed for long term response to help house and rebuild those who didn't have insurance or who were renting as landlords often don't rebuild. Short term what's always short is gallon plus Ziploc bags, totes, and place to store them like a shelter logic tent. Red cross and churches and other locals generally can cover water and food depending on how many affected. Very sad and emotionally traumatic for those going thru this. sypher Oklahoma however got it much worse. There are several ways to donate to them as well.

I’m wondering why the news is talking like this is the first time that this has happened? Tornadoes touch down every year and cause massive destruction. Maybe it’s just how she’s talking or it’s a more destructive season?
I’m can’t imagine what it’s like for the residents, but also for the first responders and news stations.
Year after year, first responders probably dreading tornado season, because they know that they’ll have to respond to calls of people being hurt or families that have died. One of the saddest photos I’ve ever seen was a fleet of ambulances waiting for an EF 3-5 tornado get done bulldozing a town so they can go help people. Having to sit there and watch helplessly.
And news stations who have to cover yet again stories of tornadoes destroying lives and dreams.
Did not know Anyone in the area that was hit but I feel such sorrow for those poor souls that were impacted🙏🏼 God bless you All and I’m so thankful for the small loss of life

homes need to be better designed and materials, broad flat and nook surfaces and designs are prone to high destruction
Just that most companies don't use concrete and metal for structure because wood is cheaper, but they really need to stop if they want their homes to be safe and sustainable especially in tornado alley

I doubt it was a strongest of the strong tornadoes - even though it had the wind speeds to do it, it crossed initially through Lincoln moving up and going north west through Elkhorn dealing its first EF2 - EF3 damage as it further intensified in the town with pretty bad building structures, it went by moving upwards and then to the east crashing through Bennington with 250 MPH winds from radar, give or take it could have been false, but the tornado crossed through the left edge of Bennington demolishing more houses as it still went up slowly dissipating most likely at De Soto just north of Bennington
Oh wow, 250 miles per hour. I cannot even begin to fathom what this must have been like for the people who live there.

After the tornado, machines are brought in to clear the streets, everything is pushed into piles, and then reporters stand in front of these piles to give the impression that it was tornado damage. Happens every time.
But those piles are tornado damage.

These disasters are what Americans want to receive federal assistance. NOT FOREIGN INTERESTS.
The US government DOES provide disaster relief for natural disasters in this country. The US government also provides foreign aid to countries around the world who are need as well. As the richest country in the world the US can easily afford to do that. That is one way for the US to maintain good relations with the rest of the world.

The country has had periods of more frequent and more severe tornadoes with less advanced warnings.
And the use of fossil fuels had nothing to do with the current climate.
