I got some new information about the guide explaining how some of the info was originally inaccurate, so to clarify: The server properties.txt and the batch file should both be moved outside of the server folder. When editing the .bat, it will by default say "AskaServer.exe" -propertiesPath "server properties.txt" It only needs to be changed to: "ASKA Dedicated Server\AskaServer.exe" -propertiesPath "server properties.txt" Keep your server properties.txt and AskaServer.bat in one directory above the ASKA Dedicated Server folder and you're good to go. If you accidentally generated duplicate server properties.txt or .bat files inside the ASKA Dedicated Server folder, it will be safe to delete them after creating copies of both in the higher directory. You will start the server by running the .bat! Also, the Path Maker & Road Maker section is a bit confusing. They are separate things you can build, but you do not actually need to place the road over a path, you can just place the Road Planner down and start working on it!
You just reminded me to switch my brain back to slow mode and appreciate the environment, instead of rushing to unlock achievements. Winter is coming in my game, Skyrim music is ready to be played. btw which music tracks did you use in the background? I find them relaxing.

I've never played Aska, but this video makes me want to buy it now. Very well done! Kudos

For those like me who are not that computer savvy does this mean I cannot join someone else’s server if I cannot do this process?
No you can absolutely join like normal, this is just about how to host a server yourself! Joining is just like connecting to any other MP game.
