Cuse fan here. This is really good analysis. I think we surprised Tech by playing a 3-3-5 with 3 defensive tackles after playing a more traditional 4-2-5 against Ohio. Might be a different game if we played much later in the season and your coaches had more film on us. Here's to hoping wild stuff keeps happening and we get to matchup again in the ACC championship.
Great show I’m a CUSE FAN🍊…. Don’t get down on tech they are a good team just need more elite players..that has been Syracuse for years now we are deep and have NFL players on both sides of the ball ..also the acc is better than everyone thinks so it gonna be hard in conference…
Su fan here. You guys have a heck of a football program here. And i still think you guys have one of the better coaches in the acc . Its only one loss plenty of football for you guys ahead. Su also had alot of sec talent across there roster and big 10 talent , along with former coaches that have been at sec schools Colorado, and professionally. So su really is a better team then people may think. Fadil digs came from a sec school i believe Georgia . And you guys still have a great qb and a great defense and of rb. You guys are blue collar football. I think georgia tech had chances but could not capatilize on it. Su messed up because they should have made the lead bigger. And su special teams again today was a question mark id give su defense a c. Georgia tech special teams grade was definitely a a+ . If your defense makes a monster stop and turnover you guys are probably having a different podcast and my comments are different. You guys have a great team i still think this is a 8+ win football program. Ggs guys.
Both teams still have things to work on. King is one hell of a dual threat QB and will win a bunch of games but Syracuse won the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Nixon, the SU OC, with McCord was just to much for the GT D.
Not a bad loss. Syracuse was thought to be a dark horse this season, on the road, with McCord and all the SEC transfers Cuse got. GA Tech showed toughness at the end to try to battle back. Anyone who thought Tech could win this on the road was foolish (good fans, but foolish). Road games are tough. I called it. This is almost a reverse of Tech's game at Bobby Dodd against Syracuse last year.
When Syracuse played Penn State the year they are undefeated they gave every person pom poms orange ones to use in the stands and it was so great if they could only do that again
Syracuse used Georgia tech's late defensive substitutions against them every single time the offense substitutions ran on the field tech would wait till the last minute to substitute and run on players and Syracuse was given the ok to snap the ball with under 10 seconds left every single time tech's defense was almost never set and communicating when the ball was snapped Kyle McCord keyed where he was going with the ball by the personnel ran on the field on the flip side Syracuse didn't substitute on defense they played mostly the same players unless goal line packages or prevent defense was used

Syracuse has a great offense. They can run and throw. Defense and special teams is a big question mark. GT just seemed flat out outmatched on D against McCord and the Orange’s skill players
Faulkner was way too conservative. King with the weapons we have at WR need to take more shots downfield. Our DB's played terrible. Burrell is the only one who showed up. Biggers played pretty good, but the rest of the D-line was on vacation. Hope it's a wake up call. I think we are a much better team then what showed up today.
I listen to you guys and try to value your opinions but after years of listening to you i feel and dont understand why you guys expect so much out of the corners. Corners dont have to be killers 1st of all. There job is to cover 1st and keep runners out the backfield inside so the pursuit can make more plays such as linebackers and safeties. It is a hard position to play out there on that island. I mean im talking football 1 on 1. Corner wise Burrell does a decent job. Harvey is not in my opinion what you guys make him out to be but he does good on the boundary as far as run stopping. The Shelley kid to me is the more fastest of all and can be matched with any speedster on anybody team. He can play in and out. He covers well and tackle well. He didnt give up anything and didn't get targeted much at all because he was on his guy. Yall dont see these things because he does his job. I been telling you all hes my darkhorse and ill stand by it. You guys dont give this kid any credit. Yall talk about the same people that does no more good on the field that nobody else on the roster. Omar Daniels isnt bad but struggles in the nickel at times due to not being quick and he lacks speed. Our safeties and linebackers are very slow and cant cover noone due to lack of any kind od speed. Im gonna keep it real. I know its a business and you guys need your ratings and so forth but you guys need to start giving credit to other guys thats paying dividends on that field because the guys that you continue to praise aint always the answer. Shelley and Burrell are clearly the best cover corners . Lamiles is doing a great job. Powell Lee hasn't brung anything thus far but he make a few tackles and miss alot in which they all do. Dbs are going to get beat. They gone miss tackles. They gone get ran out of plays and get MOSSED or caught on. Its the reality. Lets be more fair to them and be harder on that D line not getting pass rushes to help those guys. Im team Shelley and im working on getting me a podcast soon and i will tell it like it is. McCord from Ohio State, SEC transfers and coach from UGA who's great at recruiting. They're at the beginning of a multi-season rebuild but they got a good start to it.
