I know some people were complaining about the editing being like HGTV, or something, but I totally disagree. Your videos are amazing, every video tells a story and they are so inspirational!
Lazy Girls Kitchen right? I actually love it! I feel like the style gives it a very clean cohesive look but they've still got the personality that makes them feel very genuine.

I loved seeing the dynamic of you guys working together - Kelsey spouting off ideas faster than Becky can write, and then Becky just going "Yes! how can we make this happen?"
love the loft! the mirror over the bed was giving me the heebeegeebees though. I kept on imagining it falling on your head! I know you guys would have anchored it to the wall securely for its weight, so I was able to appreciate how good it looks, by the end of the video.
One thing I love about this is that it's two women putting stuff together, and building things. Often when I want to do things on my own people say "ask a guy to do that", oh no you gonna hurt your back, "blan,blah, blah" lol

I just have to say that I love seeing you ladies grow. I am so impressed with the risks you two continue to take - especially switching up the layout of the videos with this series. Fuck what anyone has to say that's negative - you can't grow to the mega guru's you're going to be/taking over the DIY world without adapting and progressing so cheers to you boss ass broads!
You could have done the privacy sheets like curtains! That way you could open/close them easier and it might look really pretty. Love your Chanel!

I love the way these videos are set up. The reality show editing is so fun and much more interesting than just voice overs like "first we did this. Next we did this"
Just an opinion - the white panels would probably look better if they were just curtains that could slide left and ride whenever needed! All in all though, the loft is coming together really well!
i was thinking the same thing! so that when people come over she can close them but also be able to keep them open sometimes so it doesnt feel as closed off and you get that nice view still!!
They're hung on little hooks so they are easily removable! But curtains are a great option as well!

I agree. The panels are my least favourite part of this. everything else looks stunning, but the panels are out of place. Even making the curtains have hooks on the bottom so they can be pulled taut. I like loft spaces that are open so the option to pull them closed when I had guests over and open when I'm alone or have close friends over that don't care would be ideal for me. Of course, it's not my space though!!

Wow the loft looks so amazing, love it! Just a quick tip for the future: baking soda and vinegar mix is not a very effective cleaning solution. Baking soda is alkaline while vinegar is acidic, so when you mix them together you get sodium acetate and water which is a neutral solution. While it gets those bubbles its not very deep cleaning! A better solution would to use just the baking soda and water which will get the deep cleaning scouring effect!
Amelia-isms the thing with baking soda is that it still exfoliates. A mixture like this took care of my oven so why wouldn't it work in grout?
You are correct, it is still working as an exfoliate. My point is that when mixing the baking soda and vinegar together you are creating a neutral solution of basically salt and water. So you will still get the scrubbing effect from the baking soda turned to salt, but the other cleaning properties that baking soda and vinegar have on their own are neutralized (so combined it won't clean as well). You'll be getting about the same cleaning effect you wold if you just used a scrubbing brush and water, because that is basically what you have created. If you want to mix baking soda and vinegar you can go right ahead, but you will most likely be putting in twice the amount of effort to clean the grout or oven and still not getting the best effect you could if you used baking soda and water on its own. And who wants to work twice as hard when there is another method that uses a lot less effort! You should also always look up and research when thinking about mixing two chemicals (because both baking soda and vinegar, while natural, are still chemicals) before mixing because you can create some pretty dangerous reactions, baking soda and vinegar mixed together are relatively harmless in this case but some other natural chemicals mixed together can be pretty corrosive!
Amelia-isms yeah, I usually avoid it if google isn't available or I'm too lazy to look it up. I found baking soda and scrubbing to be ineffective on baked on oven but baking soda and vinegar paste soaking in there for 20 minutes resulted in 0 scrubbing

What about Edison bulbs (I hope that's the right name) for those bedside lights? Theyre not too bright and I think they look pretty nice on their own.

The quality of this series is soo good. So watchable. I love the way your space is coming together! I love how these ideas can apply to rooms in homes that aren't lofts. Next we need a series where you come to our homes to work your magic! 😀

You guys are AMAZING! One thing, among a billion others, that I love about you guys is how you break stereotypes. Girls doing actual construction/building work. It really inspires me to make my own furniture too. Loft looks great! I also had a question, which fabric store did you guys visit in Toronto? I'm new to the city (from Vancouver) and I need some good recommendations if you wouldn't mind.

that is the exact loft i've always imagine and want to live in! high ceiling and very spacious! It feels like ur in new york! and what amaze me is that unlike the usual lofts, upstairs they usually have just a limited space and height that would make u feel a little tight inside, but urs have is not, ur able to stand in there freely and even have those tall wardrobe!
I love the simplicity and modern style of the nightstands. I love using baking soda and vinegar to clean with and it is super cheap.

that was amazing !! I actually liked the original shelving on the bathroom but I liked what u did also! at first I thought you would do something more "boho" with the "curtains" on the bedroom(more flowy draining down or something like that but) yet again it was awesome anyhow !

There are super cute unique light bulbs at World Market!! I have a lamp/light similar to that where it is just a chord stand and a bulb & the bulbs I got at World Market really pulled everything in my space together 10/10 would recommend :)

great loft! But I'm wondering: If you have this bedroom which is open to your working area, how will you handle it in case you get sick or take a day off but Becky works on a project? It seems like you don't have any space where you could close the door and have a break
if they weren't working together that day, Becky would probably just stay at home
