I have traveled by car from Beppu to Kumamoto through Aso on honeymoon 50years ago and I am surprised that the scenery changed a lot. This video brought back memories. Thank you for this great drive video.
Correction: The route map at the beginning mistakenly shows 2 start points. But Kumamoto City Hall is the finish point. 冒頭のマップでスタート地点が二つ表示されてしまっていますが、熊本市役所はゴール地点です。
I really appreciate the fact that there was slow traffic during parts of this trip, as it made me more aware of the little details at the side of the road. For example, I don't think I would be able to notice that slanted house at far left of the screen at 33:44 if the car just zoomed by. I really liked the pace of this drive, but also the wonderful sights. Very relaxing.
Senang sekali melihat rumah-rumah dan pertokoan disepanjang jalan pinggiran kota yang tertata rapi. mungkin kalau didaerah saya seperti jalan poros penghubung antar desa/kabupaten. Ada hal menarik bahwa tidak menemukan kendaraan yang mencoba menyalip dari belakang, begitu juga sebaliknya.
The drive though the mountainous terrain is a sight to see. & at the end, you're in a major town. You gotta love Japan's geology. PS, at just over 90 minutes long, you're in for the long haul. But it's worth watching the whole video!
