I love the way the base green came into play, when you started your magical balloon kissing, and how it added to the movement and brightened up any darker areas. Your balloon magic, amazes me, how you can fix anything with just a kiss or swipe 🤗 In fact, it turned into a completely different piece then it started with! Another lesson in don't give up, ever! Gilly, I know you were not happy with the hair dryer but the balloon work saved this piece. Love the results. Don't give up on the hair dryer. It may just need getting to know how to apply it to your work. It may work better on larger pieces. Anyway, this one is awesome! Cheers!

I had the same experience with a really expensive dryer. I sent it back with paint on it, and a note saying not for pour painters. Gilly, uou always find a way to take a so so painting and make it beautiful.

I have been through at least half a dozen hairdryers until i found one i like. You saved your painting withbyour balloon kisses xx . I had the cast off of my arm the other day so i am trying to paint again but my wrist is as stiff as a board at the moment 😂😂😂

Darker jewel tones & bolder style of 1st one... & then the lighter, bouncy, fun style of 2nd one. Still trying to work on getting those balloon kisses right! Gonna' try walking away 15-20mins & let wet paint soak-in(?) B4 I try balloon. How to say this? 🤭 Umm...my kisses are too wet.😘 🙄 (ok, that just sounds weirdo)
I've found just because it's more expensive - doesn't make it better. I got a Dyson hair dryer for Christmas from my mother - it's HOPELESS using for blow outs - I'm better with my cheap Target hair dryer! Haha

Try going slower with your expensive blow dryer. It might just need time. And use the smaller end. that might help.
