this is probably my favorite touhou game, if not to play, at least to look at, the bullets freezing is so fucking satisfying also, more importantly: funny ice fairy go brr
from what i've heard, its difficulty is the most disproportionate on normal and it becomes less disproportionate higher up. also have you succeeded yet?
For the pcb extra, it is cool. Also, pcb has an "extra+" stage, the phantasm stage. It can be unlocked by capturing 60 unique spell cards and clearing extra. It would be nice to see you try it out
a fairy wars video, nice. fairy wars is a good game, although I am with you the mechanics arn't for me (however satisfying they may be) and the extra stage is quite tedious to unlock (have to beat every route through the game) which if your not too interested in the mechanics does make it very annoying to get.

I really liked the OneShot video, I was very impressed at how entertaining you can make a three and a half hour long video. I want to watch more long form content like it (Although it would probably not do very well in the algorythm).
If I had to guess what purple ghost meant, my guess would be that the Japense translation of "power play" and "purple ghost." Sound similar-ish if you say them fast enough. So it might be some stupid pun. The reason I say this, is because iirc one of the Manga did something similar by rhyming with 2 different words in Japanese that Sound nothing alike in English. Note: this is a guess, I don't speak Japanese. I just went to Google translate and typed both of them in, and I can kiiiinda slightly see the similarities.

Lets see what is on the list to do, hmm yes, say some facts or tips about the game you may or may not have missed, ok lets start. If you ever is low on life at the final stage, so do I recommend firing against the other 2 semi bosses because that will build up Motivation and you will not be forced to the next part of the fight, if you have too much trouble just surviving that part so can you directly shoot down the main boss instead. And to your comment that it’s Motivation instead of lives, it could be because Fairies can’t actually die, they just respawn so in theory could Cirno fight forever. Same goes for every fairy. But hey, that’s just a theory, a game theory. And to the No freeze thing, I have actually done that before. You know, if there is a stupid idea, then have I probably done it. The attacks are a lot harder and you can’t get any frozen area so your damage output is non-existent. Can be done on Easy mode and Normal mode is almost humanly impossible, there have been a TAS run for Lunatic and Extra stage so it’s possible for no freeze but it’s so hard so it’s at the same time impossible. Also if you ever want to do the extra stage, then do you need to do the PoFV/Touhou 2 style and beat every path And at last. 11:47 Do you mean Star?

yeah I really cant give zun enough credit when it comes to the freezing, the sound design and everything is nuts
Man played through route A on hard in a few hours while I'm on my third day trying to get a clear on normal 💀
I managed to get a Hard 1cc on a lot of the mainline games
... still can't get a Normal 1cc on this. so yeah.
