The Following Combos are also super good and win on the spot: Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame/Heat Shimmer Witherbloom Apprentice + Chain of Smog Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact
Watching this 10 month after release: 1:01: „… so close to our 20k sub goal“ - pause, looking down at current subs: 80k 🎉 Well done! Literally became one of my favourite MtG channels! Unbelievable good content with so many awesome people! Love for Carl, Jamin, Thoralf,… ❤
Hey Carl, I really like your content and your investment in the channel. You really highlight parts of Magic others would not and I just wanted to say thank you to you for that! :)
Hello from the future Carl and Cardmarket crew. Just want to say congrats on the massive growth and success in just two years. And i love that Carl is still qll about copying Dark Depths.
Message to Carls Boss: Carl makes us very happy. Also, Can someone please make a edit out of Jamin saying "CAAAAARL" from the Cardmarket feature matches with this Lamas with hats video Would make me even more happy
I love the fact that even the MM2 scan of splinter twin has a print error! xD I know that now, jumpstart is the alpha when it comes to sets with the most print errors but still... when it came out MM2, it was the king of missprints.
@@astuteanansi4935 You target yourself with Chain of Smog. Then you choose to copy the spell over and over again. Thus triggering the effect of Witherbloom Apprentice over and over again. Copy the spell 20 times, drain 20 life. Then watch as all your friends leave the table. :)
@@FetingGeting Oh darn. It completely slipped my mind that you can target yourself infinite times with Chain of Smog. I feel like there may be other combos with that beyond just Witherbloom Apprentice
Im disappointed channel fireball didn't make list of greatest combos. Hatrid combo was sweet. Ever hear of the horse shoe crab combo what about alluren recycle?
I considered Channel+Fireball, but to win without using ramp, the combo only goes off on turn 4 and requires you to take no damage. Still, it's a classic! Also! Hatred was my first combo deck growing up! It's not because they are not in this list that those combos are not beloved ;)
A better Dark Depths combo is Dark depths + Edge of Autumn. Play Dark depths as you're land for turn, then cycle Edge of Autumn, sacrificing dark depths on turn one. This is also mostly uncounterable.
Unfortunately, that's not how dark depths works 😅 you need to remove the ice counters. Edge of autumn would just make you sacrifice your dark depths for nothing (well, one card is not nothing, but it's not a 20/20 indestructible)
No thoracle combo feels like an oversight, it's only vulnerable to counterspells and forced draw (of 3 or more) which makes it more resilient than most of the combos on the list, there is a reason it's the premier cedh wincon.
You clearly have no idea about Magic... Comparing Twin saying "it's not as good" to a vintage combo is like saying my paper aeroplane is not as good because it doesn't fly as far as a Boeing 737... Wtf? Also saying depths "is really good" because "it doesn't cost spells... No, it just costs two lands, in a format with wasteland in almost every deck and her sister. Lands has been around for ages, it's not a top contender for a reason. Jesus christ do people actually watch you...

Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact is *the* cEDH premier combo
The Following Combos are also super good and win on the spot:
Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame/Heat Shimmer
Witherbloom Apprentice + Chain of Smog
Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact

That is a golden comment that will directly go to his ear!
20/20 flying indestructible token isn't what it used to be with all of the new exile removal and meaningful bounce effects.
Nomads en-Kor and Cephalid Illusionist. Total mana cost three mana.
Flash + Protean Hulk. Total mana cost two mana.
No Heliod/Ballista or Heliod/Spikefeeder? Heliod/Spikefeeder can combo as early as turn 2 and infinite life most of the time means you win.
Free wins most of the time because the deck is so damn consistent in game 1. Game 2 you better hope to get pithing needle.

i'm going to make a commander deck with each of these in it lol
Leyline of the Void + Helm of Obedience difficult to classify
Counter Dark Depths ability with Tales End. Not impossible to prevent
Message to Carls Boss: Carl makes us very happy.

Can someone please make a edit out of Jamin saying "CAAAAARL" from the Cardmarket feature matches with this Lamas with hats video Would make me even more happy
This makes me happier than it will make my boss even! :D
But please 😅 not the murderous llama, everyone brings up the murderous llama!
As a Commander player, I think my favourite Combo/Synergy (it is kinda inbetween) is Brash Taunter & Pariah/Parish's Shield.
I love the fact that even the MM2 scan of splinter twin has a print error! xD

Chain of Smog + Witherbloom Apprentice. Best one in my book. :)
I don't get it, what's the combo

@@astuteanansi4935 Surely there are more combos. But 2-card kill combos that go off in an infinite loop? That is a rare sight. :)
Turn One: Urborg, Tomb of Yagmoth
Turn Two: Play Dark Depths and Vampire Hexmage...
Malcom keen-eyed navigator +glinthorn buccaneer is pretty strong too

What about approach of the second sun twice?
I play Legacy and Modern, and I am a combo player... Nowadays my favourite deck is Aluren with Acerrarak 😝
Does painter servant ability works against cards with void?
Is there a modern deck that uses the combo that got placed first? Sounds fun but not sure if it's legal in modern ^^'...
Flash + Protean Hulk is one of the best ones
'Banned from my wallet' perfectly explains most powerful mtg cards
No exuisite blood sanguine bond?

I’ve never heard counter spells called permission
Turn 2 snoop into turn 3 harbinger goes infinite but technically needs more than those 2 cards in the deck to pull off
Kiki Jikki and Restoration Angel!
No Thassa combo???
doomsday. you can add second card but it's not strictly necessary.
Im using the land combo for infinite mana then a creature
Thopter assembly and time sieve
Channel fireball
AAAAA NO WHY WOULD YOU BRING UP THE BABY SHARK SONG ITS TUCK IN MY HEAD NOW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Another very cool 2 card combo is helm of obedience + black leyline/rip effect
The best two card combo is KCI and scrap trawler
Unfortunately, that's not a two card combo. You need more pieces to make it work ;)
Turn 3 win with chain of smog and magecraft
What about intuition, 1 card combo
Where Channel Fireball?(pls don’t bulli. I don’t have favorites for companies.)
Sorry it's Cardmarket here! ^^

RIP + helm of ob.
Time Vault is neither restricted nor banned in every format. Twiddle Vault is a top tier deck in Old School 93/94...
