  • What Is Indonesia's Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP)? Last year, Indonesia signed the historic Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) with G7 countries at the G20 Summit in Bali. The deal will see $20 billion flow to Indonesia to support its transition away from coal and other fossil fuels in its energy sector and boost renewable energy deployment across the country. The Just Energy Transition Partnership in Indonesia is the first to focus on the energy sector specifically and will see the country reach net-zero emissions by 2050, a decade before the original deadline.
