abdi kani can you imagine if we had international recognition and the privileges these countries like Rwanda and Ethiopia enjoy, I think we would have been an upper middle-income country by now.

The sky is near then the Somaliland( Somalia northern region) recognition please stop the cheap comments our African brothers knows that there's only one tribe called Isaak wants to be a self dependent nation what an amazing!! It's like if the Hutu tribe of Rwanda say we need to be or to have our own nation is that possible!. No more division in Africa.

President Paul Kagame is on track with open data but I revisited the Open Government Partnership website and Rwanda has has yet to get on this list. Presenting a commitment and action plan with the OGP group that reveals the strategies such as transparency, accountability, and civic engagement will communicate to the movers and shakers engaged in this global transformation.
What President Kagame is seeking is also defined as an Innovative System that is required for the Knowledge Economy.

Want to save power costs? Megalithic dome constructions. Do a search. I hope Rwanda uses this form of building.

AdstarAPAD Yes! What would you see to the pyramid format? I had suggested Haiti, in its rebuilding, shift to the pyramid style of architecture as a buttress against those devastating wind assaults it faces from time to time.

Dome construction style is perfect for Earthquake and tornado areas. Very hard to knock down a Dome structure they are very strong. Because of their shape.

ya ethiopia is on the same path as Rwanda also, but their are so many ethnic divisions that it is getting annoying. But ya Meles was good Friends with Paul Kagame, They are both really smart and seem to care lot for their countries and continent, was for Meles. But ya I am excited for Africa in general, we should take our rightful spot, as Number one soon.

The congo is full of head-chopping militias --> refugee-rights.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Kasai-report-IRRI-ENG.pdf
It’s not Rwanda’s responsibility! Some agitators here are only blowing hot air.
    Excerpt, page 18:
The first attack by the Kamuina Nsapu militia on this town [Kasai region] took place on 6 March 2017. Several weeks later, on 13 April 2017, the militia came back in larger numbers. A farmer described how they entered the town:
“They created a lot of disorder. They started to kill people, they cut off their heads, to burn them in their Tshota [their camp which also doubles as a place of worship]. They targeted the whole population, anyone could be killed. They came with a discourse saying: ‘We are here to protect the population, stay calm.’ But their acts were the contrary.”

God bless Africa and its beautiful people! With all due respect for all Africa's people, might I nonetheless inquire as to the ethnicity of the Rawandan people. Are they Bantu? Or some other African ethnicity? I ask with all due respect. I would like to submit myself to a blood test to see where my DNA rests in Africa, suspecting in advance I am of Bantu Africa. Thank you for understanding my post!

Rwanda may develop, but will go down in history as a country that developed at the cost of millions of congolese lives, what a bad burden to carry forever

Matt Dathew let me tell u something.zaire as it used to be called was a basket case from the time of Mobutu Sese seko.he was a dreadful ruler who looted Zaire to the tunes of billions of dollars and never developed the country he ruled, nothing to do with kagame who wasn't even in power in the seventies as he was a refugee in Uganda.congolese people must grow up,stop blaming tutsis for their self-inflicted hell.they used to send criminals to commit crimes in my country Zambia when I was small,so I have no sympathy for them.

really, you have no sympathy for millions of innocents killed for their minerals?
