    I did a chop and prop and rehabbed the base too by root pruning and treating with a fungicide.

    Oh the struggle! I just threw away what was left of my lacunosa Snow Caps. I had tried everything. I had repotted it, it just dwindled more. I put what was left of it in leca and kept fussing over it for weeks. It was not bringing me joy and it was truly unattractive! I finally decided we were meant to part ways. I also have a struggling Mathilde that I am "troubleshooting" which for now just means "watching it". But I am considering chopping it. But I'm terrified since they are so difficult to replace.

    You just need to reroot your plants sometimes. I got a beautiful huge basket of variegated hoya this summer. The box store employees had absolutely saturated the soil. It took over a month to dry out, and steadily declined. I ended up losing about half of it, but what's left is doing better after a repot and reroot of part of it.

      I have the same problem with a tri color I purchased from BF seller. It was in a pot with no drainage! I left it for a bit because I wanted it to acclimate. I repotted after a week. It’s leaves are very soft 😩 any suggestions on how to care for it???

    Help! My hoya carnosas are dying! (All 20 of them!) We had a really bad freeze 3 years ago with no power and everyone of them froze) i started buying some this year at different H.D. and they are all dying. I'm thinking that i may need to repot them. What type of soil do you recommend? It looks like root rot even though a few of them seem to be dry. In other words, some have moist soil and some dry but they are all dying. (Got them from the same big box store just different locations.)

    About a wax plant a few months back and now I have noticed when I water it it takes a long time to dry out as a matter of fact I have only had two water it like twice since I've had it and now the leaves are falling off they are shriveled up looking but they are not turning yellow or black or brown just falling off I have not reported it so do I need to put it in a different kind of soil that dries out faster

    I have a cutting of a variegated hindu rope and I put it in a terracotta pot and then in a bag for extra humidity, mistake, dropped a leaf, I took it out but the only other leaf looks like it will drop. If I lose the last leaf can it still come back or is it a goner?

    Can you tell me how to know if a new Hoya I purchased and repotted because the soil seemed to stay wet too long, the leaves are very soft I’m assuming it was from being in too wet of soil. Should I just leave it till it dries out now that it’s in new soil? Will the leaves harden up? I’m hoping it doesn’t die 😫

    • @LessyasLeaves
      @LessyasLeaves  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know princess’ from Lowes/Home Depot for some reason tend to get these spots around winter, Im not entirely sure why but they usually drop the leaves and then by spring it seems to stop. Im not sure if its something in the soil? Or just a reaction to the change in season? Something fungal in the soil activated by the weather? Either way, I left mine alone and it was totally fine come spring time 💚 hope that helped!

    The hoyas in the rocky mix do you water like soil? Normal 1/3 water reservoir do you let the water reservoir dry out?

      @@LessyasLeaves Do you wait for the leaf to be flimsy like not all plump?

    • @LessyasLeaves
      @LessyasLeaves  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@cameroncox4268 no not at all I dont like waiting until the leaves change a lot, when they feel different to when they were when I first water thats when I typically know its like thirsty, but as far as it being “time to water” I use the pot weight technique, when its very light
