JAPAN Ride the trolley train from Saga to Kameoka for sightseeing Kyoto

We will introduce you to the famous trolley train ride experience when sightseeing in Arashiyama, Kyoto.
The Sagano Torokko Train is a 7.3km one-way sightseeing railway that connects Arashiyama and Kameoka in Kyoto.
You can enjoy a leisurely train journey of about 25 minutes from Torokko Saga Station to Torokko Kameoka Station via Torokko Arashiyama Station and Torokko Hozukyo Station.
It is very popular among tourists as a staple of Kyoto sightseeing, and is almost full even on weekdays.
You can see the Hozugawa River valley from the slow-moving train. Hozugawa Kudari, which has been suspended, is scheduled to resume operation from July 12, 2023, and you can take a Kyoto horse carriage from Torokko Kameoka Station to the ferry terminal.
