The only bad thing about this channel is that you dont upload more often dude, great work! Maybe something that would be a great topic for a video is "transitioning from padel to tennis" i am one of those and have seen many people do the same, so it would be great to make a list of all this tips that you gave to those lads, cheers mate!
Great video! The second pair both really need to hold their rackets up and use their left arm. Can you maybe make a video explaining the rating/ranking system in the UK? Was confused a bit about the division 1 champions, these guys probably could not win a tournament in category 7 in the Netherlands (9 is beginner, 1 is pro).
Padel is very new to the north west of England meaning strong tennis players will mostly win regional or club based leagues/tournaments, until others develop their padel skills. The guy who shoots the video is from the south east where Padel has been popular for longer. Watching the video, the guys from the club would probably rate around 3.5 (uk advanced intermediate) compared to the other 2 at 4.5/5.5 (advanced/borderline UK pro level).
I training some guys from Manchester here in Alicante, Spain. They are so funny and the training is really great for them. I hope the sport keep growing there, cheers mates.
5:18 - I noticed Stan plays quite a lot of rulos towards backglass. This results with high and relatively far rebound. According to me Stan could try go more for fence/side glass. In this particular situation, if I went for backglass, I would play flat and soft towards middle.
Can you please give a tip to Dan (the tall one with the red Wilson racket)? He needs to have his non dominant hand on the throat of the racket at all times and indeed have the racket preparation higher. Thanks!
The below are padel rules from two different sites. They seem to contradict each other. Which is correct please? Players are permitted to play a ball off any of the walls (glass and cage) on their end of the court (apart from return of serve). The opposition wins a point if the ball touches the glass, wire fencing, posts or any other fixture on your side of the court before going over the net or landing in the opponent's court after you hit it (the boast shot off the back wall excepted) Many thanks for your help
Both are correct, the first one is right, the ball still has to bounce, but then you can play off it As long as the ball bounces it is in It can’t hit straight onto the back glass or side wall/cage. Needs to bounce (or you can volley it before it bounces)
Nice video, although maybe it is just me, but the brightness of the videos seem to be on the darker side lately. Having a hard time focussing on the footage. Not sure if there's anything you can do about it, but thought about letting you know.
@TheRealFlaze Don't exaggerate. He's ok for an advanced level player. A lot of subscribers here don't know/realise that Ewan and Stan are actually quite average advanced players in countries with more and better padel players. And I say this with the best intentions. They are both super good, but I can guarantee you that the level is super high in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Argentina, etc. I agree that he has an amazing potential!
Not being able to hit a soft overhead makes it impossible to hold the net against anyone with experience; as you guys showed them by counter attacking every single overhead shot. It'll definitely make their life at net much easier learning a bandeja, even if it's slowly being outphased by the vibora (I can't hit that shot yet myself :P).
i was a university level tennis player and for the life of me i can't successfully play padel and tennis and tennis and not have them interfere with my skills for each. maybe some other people have that talent to switch with out it causing issues but i can't
I'm one of those guys that can switch easily. But I have to admit that I switch a lot. Sometimes on the same day first a tennis match and then a padel match and vice versa. Works perfect for me. I'm aware of the fact that I will not reach my full potential in one of the 2 sports, but let's just say that I'm well advanced in both sports. I'm easily the level of Ewan.
@@youngsuit It took me a few weeks, but I quickly got the hang of it. Just remember that padel is more compact. No big movements. I find it easier to first play tennis and then padel. It's more difficult to first play a padel match and then a tennis match.
@@bavelcothank you for this advice! for the groundstrokes and defense that makes a lot of sense, but also i'm seeing that i'm taking volleys late in tennis right now and taking big chops (i.e. vibora-ing) near my head on balls that i should be taking out in front. so almost the opposite problem with the volley.
Background music drowing out the commentary here and there. Some hype is nice but feels like a bit of a mismatch with the content during analysis atm. As a recreational player very informative though and super interesting to see and hear how the level difference shows in the rallies. There is a lot of technical info out there but this really helped me to gain more understanding in how the game actually works!
Yeh so I’m using this one at the moment. Will change at some point but very nice on the right side . No real cons really except less power but I don’t need it
Video is good tactical wise, but please play with better players that know how to hold a racket 🙏 I feel like Padel is not well-respected with all these Tennis players thinking they can dominate the court in one month!
Im tooooo addicted to padel
Started in september and same lmao i dont know what makes this so fun but im loving it.
Noooo, it’s not an addiction, just a recognition that few things in life are more important than getting out on court! 😊
I'm a beginner Padel player and these vids help me a lot and are the reason I subscribe d. Please more of these. Love it!

12:10 when he knows the ball is that hard he can just move over the middle to the other side to finish... sooo smooth
Thanks! Really interesting! The second team lacked technical skills, but wow, they still played so well!
Indeed, some really weird non-dominant hand actions
When Isaw your insta story, I instantly went on youtube to watch your video mate!

Awesome video lads, which Nox rackets are you and Stan using here?
I’m using Nox at10 12K - Stan the la10
@everythingpadel which side should I play my strength is power smashes vollies cross back hand down the line forehand
I am tennis player but really like padel. Its getting popular in California.
Greeting from Greece bro
Can you review the nox at10 12k and compare with the 18k ?
Is there a reason you are not playing with the Bullpadel Vertex Hybrid during these matches, but with the Nox AT10 12k?
First guys had no business using the metalbone hard+ hahaha
haha

Division 1 must not be that high in terms of lvl? Compared to Elite Division?
@@jesper6765 The level in the UK doesn't seem to be so high. They have a lot of catching up to do compared to the stronger countries.
