Hope u give dimensions for this build? I sure could use gonna build one for tiller that mahindra 1640 will pull. Just nice to have something to reference! Great job thanks for sharing!! Nice to see one fabricated out of steel rather then wood!!!

A better place than Kodiak in Clinton, is Brown’s Steel on 201 heading up to Skowheagan, cheaper and they can cut whatever you need, let them know the dimensions!!! Kodiak and Browns are two towns over from me, I’m in Oakland (born and raised), you were up in my neck of the woods Scott, but I noticed you were on the Coast, heading down RTE 1 when you went to get gas for the torches in another video! They don’t have any steel places down that way, Kodiak is the closest to you, damn that’s like 2.5 hours round trip for you??? Probably could go to a metal recycling place down that way and could buy it from them (AIM recycling) in Ellsworth for future reference, or I’m sure there’s a junkyard more local than that! Just throwing it out there for yah!

$600 for the steel. Holy smokes

That includes the charge for cutting it. But since the soil has to already be very loose and fine for these types of beds anyway, I think he could have made it out of wood.

After spending some time on your channel I thought I utilized my time in the correct way by seeing the correct video about Plastic Mulch layer Machine. I appreciate your work.
It was really a nice channel and I was really impressed by seeing this video.

It's great to be a jack of all trades, saves lots of money in labor and it feels good to do things on your own. Just dive into it, research, and practice makes perfect. I practice weld with a buzzbox burning 7018 rods and it isn't bad. Just got a small mig welder for small repair jobs. That's gonna be a neat implement.

Was that the auction in Troy? Hope the ground hardens up for you. This year has been very unforgiving.

@@mccormickfamilyfarm5511 Glad you were able to find something there. My grandfather always loved going. I also showed him your channel on Easter. He really enjoyed it.

Was there any more video footage or explanation of how this thing finally went together? I watched a couple of follow on videos but did not see any additional information about this implement....
