World of Warships - Quick Cut: Tier V Russian Destroyer Podvoisky

One of my mods requested this game in Tier V Russian destroyer Podvoisky, a ship that I have largely overlooked. In fact, I didn't even own her prior to this game. I remember when Gnevny was a T5 ship and had some shenanigan-y games in that ship; I assumed this boat was a downgrade given the line shuffle Wargaming went through when they released her. Turns out I was wrong.

Like you, SR, I didn't come back around and visit Poidvosky until long after the Russian DD line revamp.
She is a solid ship, but you're right on needing the gun range skill, especially if you're planning on being a good gun support ship.

Podvoisky better have good guns...that's the only good part about the ship...
Gnevny only has four guns, but better reload...so you have more firepower than Podvoisky.
