I like what you're saying very much. We all must be to some degree all these beings, sometimes the one who says no when that is called for, lead when you are a good fit to lead under the circumstances, and follow when someone who is clearly qualified steps up to lead.

Could you talk about younger guys training older guys at work? I’m 31 and I’ve trained fifty years who the tell me how it’s supposed to be done

There are TENDENCIES that seem to be more innate and biologically driven than socially constructed. This being said, when the terms sigma, alpha... blah blah... are bandied about don't mean anything useful or helpful. If you develop yourself, that is, pursue becoming good at doing as many things as you can learn that are helpful and valuable to others, you will fall into your more natural self, whatever that may be, and that's good for everyone. Not to mention, everyone plays at least two of these roles to some degree in different social structures, i.e. work, family, Church, hobbies, sports etc. The key to all of this that has been lost is to understand yourself, and not to be confined to a stereotype, but to be comfortable leading, being led, and recognizing when to do either to benefit yourself and others around you.

By "support", what do you mean? My opinion alone is meaningless.

@@NickShellVideos Support as in “give regard positively”. In the context on that timestamped comment I mean.

I suppose you are inspiring me to make a video how having strong opinions and needing them validated is feminine energy.

@@NickShellVideos You’re the one making the claim that you “go against the grain”. Expect people to call you out on this sort of stuff.

It is going against the grain to not live my life needing my opinions validated by the outside world.
