Great videos btw, I really enjoyed everything you've done since last year. Dumb question I purchased NCAA because of you but my 13 year old wanted to get into it as well and wanted to know if you knew anywhere that was giving free codes for Xbox out? I know you were going to but don't want to seem like I'm just asking for a code.
Why can’t we practice in dynasty mode?
Pls do this with defensive playbooks next my defense getting cooked
Me too lol
Cooked ain’t the word lol I just suck lol
Naa fr 😂😂
Same dude
I think we all are.
You can tell this entire game is geared towards offense. It's fun so far don't get me wrong but defensive playbooks are limited and match coverage is currently busted in many areas. Because of that, You have to run man which gets cooked or zone which can be picked apart so it's pretty much trying to outscore people when playing good players. Defense wins championships, defense needs more focus.
Edit: Nobody is arguing college isn't more offensive driven than the NFL. Everyone knows that... That has nothing to do coverages being coded incorrectly. Match qtrs, palms and the rest of Saban's Cover 7 world is currently broken.
What bro this sounds like a skill issue. They said this about the past two maddens, I have never been sad on defense, just get better!
@@AFK-HaCk-HeR I'm Not the best but I'm currently undefeated in my 32 man league with SMU. Pretty good wins over top ranked teams ran by good users. But back to the topic, idk how match coverage busting clear assignments is a skill issue. Let's talk ball if you really know what you're talking about.
Skill Issue stop complaining keep practicing dawg
@@elevateskillzdon’t listen to him I fairly agree with you
@@elevateskillzdon’t listen to him I fairly agree with you
I'm just trying to learn these RPOs a little better because they're a quick pick 6 if you don't have it down
Know the defender yu supposed to read for example if my wr has a slant I read the outside Ib or the s as yu snap the ball yu watch their first step if it’s away from where the receiver is running yu throw it if they go toward him it’s a pick 6 like yu say
@@shanesmith6992 But bro how do you keep the ball and pass it. Ive tried Hitting X right before hand off, Holding X, doing nothing. QB just continuously hands the ball off.
@@nehemiahwright3799someone correct me if I’m wrong but you’re supped to throw before you hand to hb. So as soon as you snap you should be ready to throw the ball. Pretty much look for the throw first then worry about the HB
@@M7CHVEL Yea bro ur right. Mmm idk if i like how EA designed the RPO pass. I was thinking that it wud be a fake hand off to HB then QB pull up for the pass. I havent really found a good RPO where im finessing any defense. Im usually stopped right at the line of scrimmage immediately lol. The most ive gotten on a RPO pass is like 8 yrds lol
@@nehemiahwright3799The point of the RPO tho is to take the easiest yards available. They are so good on first down to create easier late-down conversions or third and short for that reason. They generally aren’t meant to be big plays, it’s about creating easy 5-10 yard plays based on what the D gives you. And it gets your playmakers in space and then maybe they turn it into a big gain.
Utah playbook has been my go to. 10+ singleback AND shotgun formations, wildcat and the HB double pass!
I've been using Hawaii playbook, and it has some really good medium pass plays with good quick screen formations.
I use UNLV’s playbook for my dynasty and the duo over looks are nasty ! They have a lot of option plays and plenty of passing plays too. It’s 100% my favorite playbook in the game
That UNLV play book looked dope! I'm play with that one for sure
What I got the most out of this video is I am going to have to make my own playbook lol
Gotta check out the Kansas playbook. A lot of shotgun and pistol. Reads, jets, and rpos. A lot like what Urban Meyer used to run at OSU.
Yea Kansas is nice
I’m bias but I like the Texas play book. I like the rpo and misdirection quick passes to the flats.
Love Texas too. But man there are so many playbooks way better as far as PVP is concerned
Michigan is great especially if you want long sustained drives and to dominate your opponent. Alabama has a nice one as well with a little more creative. Michigan’s is nicer as you get to utilize heavy TE sets allowing for mismatches and better protection. Very hard to stop a Michigan playbook when mastered.
My favorite one cause I love to control the clock and game
UNLV runs on offense called the GO GO offense, and its signature is the double running back on the same side of the gun. If used correctly, this offensively system will give defenses fits.
What’s the name of that formation?
@fuadc1303 Duo Strong and Duo Weak I think. Inside of UNLVs playbook
Jets sweeps in the duo is chef kiss
Are they adding create a player in a future update because RTG and dynasty mode is fun but being able to make wat ever position you want is better to me
doubt it
I hope so everyone wants it me and my brother was on RTG for a while then we click back to the menu to look to see if we can create players and we can’t .. its no option- it’s honestly sad i really hope they addd this it will make the game wayy more fun for offline players 💱, on top of that if u create to many RTG PLAYERS U RUN OUT OF SAVE SPACE IN GAME and it’s probably gone lead me away from the game of nun changes about it ..
Facts definitely a missing gem man
Michigan playbook is good if you like Play action, and defense has solid plays
Has everything you might need in a playbook
Yo eric thanks for the vid but can u tell Bordeaux to tap Square to slide
Started using Texas state, I’m a shotgun only type of coach lol so it’s perfect for me 20 shotgun formations, & 370 plays, u have read options, inside/outside zone runs, plethora of passing plays, RB screens, qb options, WR reverse, and even has wildcat formation, this playbook has everything u need out of the shotgun!
The 2 teams I really want to run Dynasty with, OU and Navy. Love seeing them at the beginning of the video.
That fiu playbook got me with those wide formations. Started my florida state dynasty with a loss. 😅 threw 2 pick 6’s and those wide splits kept getting me killed
😂😂😂
Defense defense next please Ik I’m better than this 😂😂
I’m having a lot of fun with this game but two issues… my main issue is the offensive line blocking. Seems they’ll hold a block for literally half a second and a pass rusher in your face in the blink of an eye. Maybe needs to be tuned. Lastly the skill gap in this game doesn’t matter much because it’s difficult to win a game unless you’re using a power house team. Im a die hard Rutgers fan & a very good ncaa/madden player and I can’t use Rutgers because I’m usually running into folks using Georgia, Bama, LSU etc. I noticed the difference between the power schools and the smaller schools isn’t necessarily the overall that’s the problem but the speed difference of the players. Just look at speed differences between smaller and bigger schools. It should be overall and talent based not* speed because then I can play with any team I want and I’ll have to rely more on my user skills & defensive adjustments. Just my opinion
Bama's playbook is OP as hell... my receivers are practically always open. Almost every pass goes for a TD. Run game across the whole game is broken as hell too. Spin move is GOATED
Been using kentuckys playbook. Been dominating in the gun formation under spread offset. Dagger curls is un stoppable if you let it develop
Can you do a video explaining the best ways to run an efficient RPO play? Also, the flea flicker.
Alabama has a good playbook
My favorite one so far
Bro I don’t like it
@@Jude_Solozwhy not
Hate that we can’t play regular online games and switch playbooks, everyone would run arizonas
Facts
I actually like that you can't change playbooks. It makes you really have to adjust. Maybe it's just me, but the whole thing with everyone using the same playbook seems played out
@@donnough2085 true i would be cool playing with the teams offensive playbook I select I just need the 4-3 multiple defensive playbook every game 😭😭 so they at least need to let us selected a defensive playbook
@@donnough2085facts
Yeah it’s my only complaint, I hate generic playbooks it’s soo limited and gets repetitive
Don’t forget these are his ideas as to what is the best offensive playbooks
Why cant I use a custom playbook head-to-head online??
facts
I think it’s cause the game isn’t out yet I hope they fix that tho
They have it locked because there's an actual point system. If you want to run a playbook you'd have to run with that specific team.
That sounds great until someone uses army’s option with Milroe and Jam Miller on you dude.
Go change playbooks in settings
I’ve been using notre dame playbook but those unlv Alabama & Arizona playbooks caught my eye
Hey I saw that if you have a 3.7 gpa for your first three years you can graduate early so you don’t have to worry about your grades your senior season… but if you redshirt your freshman year (you redshirt if you ride the bench the entire season) does that mean you don’t have to worry about your gpa for your junior and senior year?
Been playing 18 hours at a time. This will help my small schools..have 19 dynasties going lol. Thanks Eric.
Go outside bro
Us there any playbooks with most or all if the trick plays
Thats what I want
You should make a trick play video
Fr
Defending on this game is stressful. You never know what’s coming 😅. So much space on the field
It’s impossible if they are mounting a comeback 😂
Is the Double Post play in the game that’s like Madden Eagles playbook?
I like Georgia , SMU , and TCu but ima check these out .
Eric thank you so much for your videos bro you don’t know how appreciated I am LSU all day since Pat p days!
You just earned my subscription today, bro! Some of these playbooks are insane
Hopefully EA adds formation sub or mass substitutions. Would like to be able to sub the 2nd team in and save wear and tear on the first string.
Indeed
I love this game and your videos
Currently giving Oklahoma State’s playbook a spin in dynasty and I’d say it’s my favorite I’ve used so far. Lots of motion but balanced between the run and pass.
Please do a best defense to run video I can't stop anyone with even Ohio state
This game is a lot of fun
Take a shot every time Eric says playbook
Great information thanks boss !
I ran the belly and dive in the mid 80's in HS lol. Love it
I love how they have wishbone and I forgot the other but it's kinda like wishbone.. My old hs back in the day used it... But I really like using oregons pb to
I’m on vacation but when I get back I will get my hands on this game
I think unlv playbook just saved me
Thanks i was overwhelmed with trying to find a playbook
Any chance you will make some gameplay tips videos? I know I ultimately just need to practice and get better, but I enjoy your content and was hoping you might make some. (Definitely using this video once I get better though!)
Being a half back in road to glory is so hard for some reason. Specially being under a 4 star for sure. But like it even feels harder then qb.
I'm just trying to find one that fits my play style so this helped a lot
who has the flea flicker and hb pass in the same playbook
Hey Ray I made playbook .don't see it when I'm playing road to the CFP thanks for your help 👍
Glad I'm not the only one who likes Michigan's playbook
Texas states playbook is another great one if you wanna look at Run and shoot concepts
Deciding between Ohio state or unlv which is better ?
I personally think Ohio state cause of box plays
I think I'm gonna make my own mesh and levels offense with curl flat variants for audibles.
DUO = Go Go Offense by Brennon Marion. I wish they would have put some of his Go Go Stack stuff in the backfield.
Can you build your own playbook ?
yes you can it's in the menu under roster
@@red_lyfemarni9947 Kk, thanks for the info !
I don’t think you can use it in dynasty mode yet though…
Air Force and Ucla O books are nice. NIU has a good mix. Oregon is a Madden book. The Non team books are interesting.
Running option threw me off. Gotta Press A to keep the ball or press the letter of the back to hand off.
been in western kentucky playbook got a bunch of trick play in that i got to try UNLV
Should of called this best offensive playbook I came looking for defensive playbooks
Tennessee has the best playbook. Wide sets and good zone runs
Wildcat Mountain Zone is busted
Waited too long for this exact video lmaoo
Hello, my name is Jonah. I am a huge fan of this game. I was just curious about your next video or a future video. Can you please check every team's media poll ranking found in the "my school" section of the recruiting stage under "championship contenders"? If so, this would be awesome because the actual preseason poll only has the first 25, and the other 109 can only be found this way. The reason is that I am making a 64 team bracket for the top 64 teams, and numbers 65-68 are the first four out.
Pls do a cover 4 quarters/palms match rules and how it works .
Look up Xando football. He’s covered rules for the whole quarters family in last years Madden. The rules are the same
You gotta do defense. I’m doing northwestern and I can score 40 and my defense is allowing 50 😂
Now we need a Defense one
can i use these in online
Air Force is the best I built a scene around it. Also spread option is busted in goal line
I’m using Kennesaw states playbook in my Maryland dynasty 😅
Not related to playbooks, but what quarter lengths would y'all suggest for each difficulty?
Everyone sleeping on that wake forest RPO🤩💯
Custom stem is a game changer at the los
App State’s playbook is big time underrated
I want play this game
Should do defense next
Am I doing something wrong but what’s the use of having a custom playbook if we can’t use them online head to head?
Can u make a video about the revamped passing im confused on how you layer it and take off power to get t he perfect pass, thanks
Did anyone else start a road to glory at kennesaw state and want to uninstall the game lmao
Is there a spy defensive perk in Michigans playbook where you can see what plays your opponents are running pre-snap?
Please do defensive, I love these vids so much
There is a fade route in south carolina playbook that's crazy
Zona is top for me.
The playbook in your thumbnail is the one from NCAAF 2006. Those plays are old.
Came in to ask which playback had those in it. I liked that set.
They need to emergency update the online head to head 3min quarters is crazy
How can we use the multiple playbook in H2H mode
I never see the option to select different playbooks
I wish you could put ur favorite plays together and make a playbook
I’ve always like playing with OSU because of the playbook
Which one of these playbooks does the menu merchant use against you? Now that is the best playbook in the game
Will there be any updates do you can select a different playbook other than the team you are using or custom playbooks for road to CFB. I don't play MUT, so knowing which are the best playbooks do me no good unless I wanna play with a team based on there playbook instead of my favorite team.
How do you switch playbooks for play now online?
It look like Michigan is where I need to be as I like to bring the pro style to the college game cux so far I ain’t found shit with a lot of under center
Is there a playbook that has wide formations just sprinkled in?
What playbook would you compare to be the closest to a SF 49ers type scheme?
For those that uses Kansas City offense east carolina have the same playbook
What’s the best playbook for 5 wide sets?
Utah has some serious gold in it
