Just to think I could have stood in line with a person who has watched this same video on TH-cam and felt the same way as me after watching this knowing we will never be able to experience it's true greatness again; it's not the same without the seats and 3D glasses. A TH-cam video does no justice for the real experience of walking through the cold cave, the mechanical moving seat platform that added to the immersion and the lining up on the circular lights. I miss you Corkscrew hill 😢
Well this and Castle O'Sullivan and the Celtic Dancers. Sadly Ireland was always a much smaller section of the park compared to the rest, but they made up for it with really memorable bits of entertainment packed closely together. It really helped that Ireland finally made the park a full circle to walk through so you no longer had to walk the ENTIRE FREAKING PARK to get back to the exit from France again.
The whole bit of being better off in the frenchie town the road made my dad chuckle every time we went on the ride! Sure had some fond memories with Corkscrew Hill, sad to see it go for a frenchie flyin ride like the one down in mousey kindom!
@NowImThatSexyBitch The effects of the scenes seem to occur in real life. If you watch the whole ride, it feels as if you are really moving with the scenes even though you are still just in your seat. They have mist that hits you like water, air that feels like the wind. It really is a great experience. I recommend 4D rides, no matter what the theme is. It's something you have to be on to know what it's like.
My best bet would be either a) How harsh the ride was on the mechanisms or b) how harsh the ride was to people who got on it. My mom complained about it hurting her back and neck from how it jostled you around which I can understand, and that much quick and sudden movement probably wore through the ride's machinery.
@NowImThatSexyBitch 4D is 3D but with actual feeling like they squirt water at you, air, and different things like that. But I think they only put water and air
@NowImThatSexyBitch 4D is when you can feel wats going on like if some one spits on you or something you are sprayed with water and stuff like that :) sry i was 4 months late, DOH xP

I miss it so much it hurts
It's so nostalgic 😢
especially the tune in the beginning, it makes me long for a bygone era.
This was the only reason to visit the Ireland section of the park. It was fantastic!

I enjoyed Castle O Sullivan once in a while too. But not as much as the enchanted laboratory.
False. Not the only reason to visit the Irish part of the park. Very very false. Great ride tho.

I can't understand why they replaced this ride. It was the best part of Ireland.

Glad I can actually hear the ride now, before you would have little kids screaming loudly and could not hear the darn thing.
We may be wee, sir, but we can play da Wii!!!!!
