Taylor, appreciate your podcast. Good commentary, Brugler is a fine guest. What happened with past draft classes? Did coaches make bad picks, did scouts misevaluate? Can't fix problems unless you recognize them.
Taylor, we're thinking the same. Patriots off-season FA & Draft picks: ---WR Tee Higgins ---OT Garrett Boles ---DT Alim McNeill ---Edge Josh Sweat 1/4 Edge Abdul Carter 2/36 CB Jahdae Barron 3/68 LB Danny Stutsman 3/83 OT Grey Zabel 4/? OT Anthony Belton
McNeil has already resigned with Detroit. Double dipping at OT doesn't make sense either, but I think Carter could be a game changer and really like Barron as well. I'd prefer someone you get than Bolles as well, A Jackson and D Moore may make it to FA
@@BG-qs6ii Thanks for the Alim McNeill update. There is no double dipping at OT. OT Garrett Boles will be 33 yrs old during next season. He's a 2-3 yr contract. OT Anthony Belton is a developmental OT who is 2-3 yrs from starting. They're both Left Tackles abd Belton would be learning from a veteran.
I will agree that Wallace & Robinson were drafted at least one round early. I’m not giving up on Polk & Baker yet. A lot of rookie WR’s don’t have big impacts year one. Let’s see them next year.

Seems like they just need to draft best player available. It was clear rounds 2&3 were reaches. The roster needs everything minus qb. Can’t be burning top 100 picks
Pats losing strategy of taking the second best player in a college teams positional grouping , who could not be properly graded due to impact of best player in grouping due to opponents strategy/matchups. If the Patriots do end up drafting top 3. Then please just draft the best player available. I love both Travis Hunter and Abdul Carter.

Man I wish they took AD Mitchell that was my guy rd 2
You could put 14 future hof wr's in this draft and the patriots would somehow pick the one guy who sucks
realist comment ever🤣 they would definitely find a way to somehow miss on all of them and take the worst WR possible
Most recent draft is horrific outside of Maye. Fire Elliot Wolf and Matt Groh.
Should have used draft capital to move back into the 1st round for a LT JMO...then and now. Mapu being drafted at #76 in 2023 was a big miss.

The past draft was terrible besides Maye. I think everyone can agree with that.

I don’t like the idea of the Pats drafting a QB, they need to go the way of free agency and sign a proven talent.
hope we dont overdraft a OT in the top 4 of the draft that we pick........there are no OT worth of a top 10 pick in this draft.
