I can't understand clearly the number 27 the logic is not there at all. Can someone please explain it? In the question it is said that east high school has lower budget. Then the answer should be letter C isn't it? The north highschool has more budget. How is it letter b when there's no expenses to base from?

Uh, so I tried it myself and I got the answer 2. We have 10 pencils, divided among 3 students, so to be fair, we give them 3 each, the last pencil is set aside. By process of trial and error, Art can't have 3 pencils because if Nicky has 3 and we combine it with Art's then that would make 6 pencils, not "exactly half of all the pencils = 5". Johnny and Art's pencils combined would still be 6 even if Johnny has 4 and Art has 2 which lines up with the statement "If Johnny gave all his pencils then Art will have more than half of all the pencils." I hope this helps.
Legends: Johnny - J Art - A Nicky - N J + A = 6 to 10 A + N = exact 5 pencils A has even amount (2 or 4, it needs to sum up to 5 as mentioned above) of pencils, it's stated that N has higher number of pencils than A, so it has to be 3 since A + N = exactly 5. Therefore Art has 2 pencils
I solved it by only thinking about the names of the guards and big men, repeatedly called their names and when like two of them are grouped together in the same choice i just go onto the next one, until i find the choice that has no two or more names from the same position. Another solution would be to look for the 3 player in a choice which includes james, miguel and chris since the question only mentioned 8 players and you would only need to find 2 more from the remaining 5, but be careful using this method because the choices might be tricky and put the 3 sure players and 2 from the same position. Sorry this is the best explanation I can give😅.
