If you want "cozy crime", basically murder mysteries in the 1920s and 1930s try Verity Bright, she has written 7 books so far the main character is the Lady of the Manor, who solves murders ably helped by her butler, and dog Gladstone. Simple escapism and well-worked stories. Happy holidays everyone.
