XD edit; and this kimetsu no yaiba setting is like.. in the early era of meiji era. they starts to modernize themselves. for starter, by absorbing lots of western stuff. such as the Muzan Jackson western suit and the steam train there. soon after the story, like.. maybe even after the main characters get older, japan will enter the GREAT WAR ERA. so, demonhunting thing will NOT be relevant anymore. the humans there have guns and stuff. also it's getting more crowded. less quiet space. demons cant move freely there. cant hide very well.
Loyal and respect are two different things. You can be loyal to someone for a cause you believe is right but you dislike everything about the person you ally with for that cause. For ex: You are loyal to the king. He died and now you serve his son who is a bastard. You are still loyal to him but you despise him because he is a bastard.

He would change Akaza's memories to became just a warrior, who wants to be the nearest to his master. Besides. I do not think Muzan had any ideology for his actions. He just wants to kill everybody, everywhere and everytime, because he is a weakling and coward. In my opinion he would kill all Kizuki after eating Nezuko, because they would not be necessary for him. He even said at the beginning of season three, that he does not know why does he need his guardians.
