- I will show you how to find the arc length of a function using calculus. It's very easy. You only need to use two formulas that involve integrals. After you integrate, you will get the arc length of the function from point A to point B on the x-axis. This video is ideal for students currently taking Calculus 1 or Calculus 2 in either high school or university.
please make more Cal 2 videos. We need you
remember this for calc 3 and during your last unit of calc 2 there should be parametrization (most important thing for calc 3 that I slacked off on because it was the end of semester)
This is VERY well explained. Gold medal.
I'm happy that you enjoyed it!
This guy should be highly recommend on you tube
Hehe thank you!

Hi, how can I find the arc of length of a function with 2 points ( , )( , )?
Hi Zainab, can you give me an example of what you mean?
How if, Y = 1 - x^1/2 , and x = 0 until x= 1.
How long that curve.
Hi Vincen! Please use the formula mentioned in the video and let me know what you got!
Well done! 😀

Quote that thing
do you offer personal online tutorials?

@@QuocDatPhung thankyou this is very helpful
did you forget 1+ to add in last example cx formula has it and you just subtracted f(2)-f(1)?
No I did not forget. I did add +1 at 12:06. Let's see why:
The integrand 1+(1/4)y^6 - 1/2+1/(4y^6) = (1/4)y^6 + 1/2+1/(4y^6) and I wrote it correctly. Let me know if you see it now.
