Nudging has a stupidly high amount of effect on trajectory compared to real life in TPA. and you can do a stupid amount of nudging with an analog stick before getting a warning. goign down the middle? just nudge sideways well before it gets there. sorted. this does NOT work in real life, you gotta do the slap save.
He also uses 'nudge' to kill the ball's momentum as it lands on a flipper, for a quicker skillshot, or to quickly settle a ball that he's trapping with a flipper, just to save time.

can someone explain to me the strategy behind shaking the table?
