Cool video, love the drone shots! Looks like you took a pretty gnarly hit there. Good thing for helmets! I’m in the area about to hit this trail. Appreciate the info and link.
Looks great. Also looks like everything in the vid I can rip on my -0-....next time I head that way to ride the RIM in Page, I'll def hit that zone, Cheers!
These crashes happen in slow motion when you are experiencing them. I was able to use my hands and duck my head enough to get off lucky. Thanks for watching!
SO COOL! I simply love this terrain. The mixed pinion/juniper & red rock of southern Utah can't be beat! You could basically add a million miles of awesome single track in Utah and still have room for millions more! Another destination to check out! Thank you. Yikes, at 3:50 I notice your helmet straps need a LOT of work! (Premonition, maybe??) Spend some time snugging those up under your ears and chin so you'll have appropriate protection if the situation ever arises... AGAIN!!!!😁 Actually, this video is REALLY instructive on this issue. Helmet fit is important as you want it staying on in case of impact with something. Get the best fit to your head shape possible first. Don't buy a crappy-fitting helmet because it's a "good deal" or "really cool color." Fit is key. Then use the retention system to get it right. THEN spend the time to adjust the straps so they're all snug. This means adjusting the four different lengths that come down from the helmet. They should meet below your ear lobes and be as snug as you can tolerate. Then the chinstrap needs to be also as tight as you can tolerate. Tight enough so the helmet pulls down when opening your mouth all the way. Pierce's straps were the poster child for about the worst attention to them possible, save perhaps for someone riding with straps unbuckled! And you work at Over The Edge??? He's lucky his abominable helmet fit didn't prove catastrophic. PS And yes, as mentioned already, this video also supports the argument for wearing full face protection.
Full of funny run ins and coincidences lately! haha. Thanks for stopping by the youtube channel! I wish I had known Little Creek like I do now when I showed Brian and Alex. Cheers, Hudson!
Dude! That’s why I always ride with my full face! Even on my XC bike and my road bike! Can’t be too safe! Hell, I’ll even drive to the trail with my full face on!
Love the drone shots and the trail description that actually makes a lot of sense. You ride up the ledges pretty smoothly, and make it look easy. It so it might be worth placing a camera to catch that. Glad you are ok after the spill. Those pedal strike crashes happen so fast.
Thanks Chris! I appreciate you watching. There was definitely some pretty ledgy stuff. Because I was alone I didn’t think about setting up an additional camera much but that would definitely add to the production value. Cheers
It reminded me of Phil's World when you started out but definitely turned to a "gnarlier Wire Mesa" which I was surprised to hear you mention towards the end. That crash was pretty gnarly, you *just missed* that being a guaranteed E.R. visit. A full face might have been helpful there. I thought Kanab might be too hot at this time of year.
Hey Craig! Thanks for watching. The drone follows the “beacon” which is pretty compact. Thankfully I can just put it in my bag and let the drone do its thing when I’m riding!
Hey! Thank you. I use the Skydio 2+ for my drone, and I use Final Cut Pro as my video editor. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!
Once and a while you’ll find yourself on the ground with a bike on top of you, essentially the opposite of the normal scenario where you’re on top of the bike. It happens! 😜
Excellent video...I ride St. George and Hurricane a lot, and have driven through Kanab dozens of times enroute to Arizona and so it would be great to ride a trail system like this!! But I'm wondering specifically which trails you rode in this video...if I can only ride one day, which are the better trails to start with?
Gonna have to check it out this summer! Looks like some of the XC riding I've done in Moab. The Rimview trail in Page is one I'm eyeing, it looks like it probably would make a great video. Beaver just started a trail system too which would be cool to see.
I plan on riding the Page rim trail here soon. I bet there’s plenty of extra credit rollers based on some of the formations I’ve seen out that way. Thanks for the thoughtful comment Matt, happy to hear you met my younger brother!
Nice work....So when you say "Kanab"....can you be more specific? It's not on Trailforks, and while Bruces trail maps are nice, there is nothing about location in comparison to Kanab. Trailhead info is always appreciated, thanks.
Get a new helmet. After an impact like that, youre supposed to get rid of them and get a new one. Edit: glad you're okay. I audibly went, "WOAHHHHH!," when it happened.
I love your TH-cam videos. In fact, I would like to LINK to this one in a new e-book I'm writing about Utah. This would be a link directly to your TH-cam channel, not embedded, so it wouldn't take anything away from you. What it would do is get you more views and subscribers. I would also give you credit in the text on the page, as well as a free copy of the e-book. Let me know what you think.
Thanks for sharing the video of some new trails! Got to check those out next time we are down in StG
Thanks for taking the time to watch, brandon! Happy new years.
looks awesome...gonna have to plan another trip. yay for helmets.
Yay for helmets!! And eye protection. The glasses took a lot of the hit too. Thanks for watching man!
We’ll have to hit that next time I’m in town.
I’d love to😊
Glad your face didn't get hammered too bad. It was nice to see the shout out to Bruce Argyle. He has been doing such great work for many years.
Yeah he has! It’s definitely appreciated. I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video!
Thanks!
Thank you Craig! I appreciate the support a lot ♥️
Cool video, love the drone shots! Looks like you took a pretty gnarly hit there. Good thing for helmets! I’m in the area about to hit this trail. Appreciate the info and link.
Thanks for watching, Robby!
Looks great. Also looks like everything in the vid I can rip on my -0-....next time I head that way to ride the RIM in Page, I'll def hit that zone, Cheers!
Thanks for watching. New video dropping tonight, stay tuned!
Dude! How is your face? You ate that rock and got up like a champ! Dang bro!
Thankfully I ducked my head just in time ! It didn’t feel good but I was riding just fine the next day :)
nice vid, but bad crash at 5:45 with no consequences. yikes! back in the saddle! ride on!
I like to think I’m pretty durable, however I never enjoy putting that to the test. Thanks for watching !
How did you not break your face at 5:55? Woa.
These crashes happen in slow motion when you are experiencing them. I was able to use my hands and duck my head enough to get off lucky. Thanks for watching!
I'm going to have to check that out now. Looks like a blast. Only an hour from St George too!
Heck yeah! Have fun. Thanks for watching !
love it! great vid
Thanks Ryan! It would be really fun to film a video with you sometime. Maybe kong ? Hope you’re well!
5:57, Ow indeed!
I got off pretty easy overall thankfully 😅 thanks for watching !
Trail looks Rad! Can't wait to try it out. Liked your comparison...Richfield and Wire and Grafton. 😂 Perfect!
Sometimes I just say stuff and once and a while it kinda works… haha. Thanks for watching !

Man looks like a blast! Thanks for showcasing that out there. I'll have to check it out!
It’s definitely worth it! You’d love it. The variety it offers is very refreshing
Hey pierce! It’s Phoenix, just saw u on a bkxc vid!
Full of funny run ins and coincidences lately! haha. Thanks for stopping by the youtube channel! I wish I had known Little Creek like I do now when I showed Brian and Alex. Cheers, Hudson!
Dirt so good you could eat it 😂
Glad you’re okay!
Thank you ! And thank you for watching the video 🤜
Heaven!!
Agreed! Thanks for watching 🎉
Dude! That’s why I always ride with my full face! Even on my XC bike and my road bike! Can’t be too safe! Hell, I’ll even drive to the trail with my full face on!
Never can be to safe ! Thanks 🎉
Amazing video quality as usual! Sweet OTB bro
Thanks Nate! It’s not if but when. And this time I got off easy!
Great trail review, can't wait to hit it! Glad your face looked ok at the end.
Oh boy me too. Could have been way worse especially on my teeth. I appreciate you watching Mr. Ride labs, sir!

Nice Skydio action.
Sick trails, stoked to see some good arial footage of the area!
The drone definitely is nice for helping capture the rides! As you know there’s plenty of shaky GoPro footage to go around 😅 . Thanks for watching !

High of 83 there today. And I’m very lucky I still have my teeth! Somebody was looking out for me. Thank you for watching mike!
I’m gonna need to add that to my ride list . Thanks . Glad your face is ok 😮
Me too! Thanks for watching. It was great to see you the other day. 🎉
Great video, I will be down that way in May and I will be checking it out for sure. Where/how do you hold your drone remote when you are riding?
Hey Craig! Thanks for watching. The drone follows the “beacon” which is pretty compact. Thankfully I can just put it in my bag and let the drone do its thing when I’m riding!
Thanks to mr. smith (helmet) you seem OK! / Cool ride.
Mr smith is a good friend for helping me get off easy. Thankfully I’m all good. Thanks for watching !
Love the follow drone footage - what drone setup/software do you use for the follow cam?
Hey! Thank you. I use the Skydio 2+ for my drone, and I use Final Cut Pro as my video editor. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!
Yikes! That was a hard hit!
Once and a while you’ll find yourself on the ground with a bike on top of you, essentially the opposite of the normal scenario where you’re on top of the bike. It happens! 😜
Ouch my dude!
It’s not if, but when! Stuff happens. Happy it wasn’t worse! Cheers 🎉
Awesome video! Which drone are you using? Thanks!!
Hi Scott! Thank you!
I use the skydio 2+

Thank you so much ron! I appreciate you taking the time to watch 🤜
Awesome video as always. Thx for doing this one, I was wondering what it is like. As you said, info on it has been sparse
I appreciate comments like this, as it’s my goal to get this stuff out there for you guys! Cheers Hans.

Can you ride those trails with an e-bike?
If it’s a class 1 ebike ! Thanks for watching mark!
is your drone following you?? remote control??
Yes! That is one of many features it comes with. It’s the skydio 2+ . I love it! Thanks for watching
Your crash looked horrible. Face tap to rock. Ooof. I'm glad you came out of it okay.
Yeah I got off lucky on this one. Helmets are cool!! Thanks
Dude is your face okay? That looked gnarly. Trail system looks fun though
Face and brain are all good thankfully. Thanks for watching, Steven!
Nice work....So when you say "Kanab"....can you be more specific? It's not on Trailforks, and while Bruces trail maps are nice, there is nothing about location in comparison to Kanab. Trailhead info is always appreciated, thanks.
Hey glen! Thanks for watching, here is a pin to the trailhead 🤜 maps.app.goo.gl/kMrWyLoHZyTSVArJ8?g_st=ic
Looks sick! Hope your noggin is ok 😂
It’s all good. No concussion! Thanks big bro 🎉
Man, hellofa header there… had to keep going before the adrenaline wore off?
Remarkably I was just fine even after the adrenaline wore off. No concussion either! Thanks for watching 🎉
I thought I had a pin for this location? Does anyone have one they can share? I am heading down there in a couple weeks.
It should be on Trailforks now! Thanks for watching
Get a new helmet. After an impact like that, youre supposed to get rid of them and get a new one. Edit: glad you're okay. I audibly went, "WOAHHHHH!," when it happened.
Smith has a great crash replacement program! Thanks for watching :)
@@PiercesPOV oh nice. I did not know that. Thanks
Full face next time. That could have been a lot worse.
Happy I didn’t have to visit my dentist. Thank you for watching !
Your face okay?
I’m all good! Thanks for asking 🤜
