Great job. Love it how you just switch the time lapse on when you need to get a move on to get finished 😊

Engineers chalk is just French chalk. Like what you used to use on the inner tube on your bike when you got a puncture back in the day. Welders also use it for marking up. Great work by the way. 👍👍

We should get a fund going for Steve to come to the states for his surgery ! I bet we could have him fixed in a jiffy and back to fully enjoying life! It kills me to see him hobbling about the job site!

@@martingaynor5017 I had mine done in August (19th.) They get you back on your feet the day after the op, no messing. Those physiotherapists don't take no for an answer (as long as there's no infection or anything, of course.) It's a painful couple of weeks initially but after about 4 weeks the joy of being able to move around fairly normally is well worth the pain. I doubt Steve will be able to work properly for at least 8 weeks or so, maybe a little longer. We're all different so some take longer some are quicker. You're not allowed to drive for 6 weeks anyway.

I’d have slid that garage back and built a proper extension.
Extend the slab behind it, quick push with a telehandler and it’s done.
Or just take the eyesore down and rebuild it out of brick.

Back into the garden behind ?

It was far enough away from the garage without the expensive, time consuming, orangery diminishing dog leg.
I hope they don’t come to regret building it like that.
