I have seen people also say, "If she wasn't such an awful person, I probably would have been rooting for her." It was refreshing to see people realise that you can recognise someone's talent while also condemning their actions. In fact, it's often their talent that opens the door for them to engage in immoral acts.

People are multifacetted - you can be good at what you do, simultanously highly controversial, at the same time a full on ass. And get appropriate reaction on these three levels at once. As long as we highlight all parts or at least do our best to try to do so it should be fine to a degree.

Season 12 really is a special season, we were all just looking at the season 12 queens like Heidi said. She worded it perfectly in my opinion. They made Covid and lockdown a little easier for us.
That's got to be so hard when you personally know someone and have had a good experiencing with them, and then find out they've done terrible things after the fact. She's so real for talking about that because I'm sure that situation was very conflicting.
I have been looking for a Best Freind like Heidi all my life. There are no better qualitys to be found in a human being than total honesty with A gentle heart. When she called herself a joy provider I teared up.

I'm glad Heidi was introspective and kind about the Sherry situation. I too would behave like Heidi if I was in her shoes. I understand believing in the victims, which I do, they didn't deserve that to happen to them whatsoever and I hope they were able to get over the shame, the anger and embarrassment that came with that situation. That being said Sherry is a human being and that was a friend during that time. I would never want someone to hurt themselves. I've felt that low one time in my life and it does suck. Luckily I never hurt myself but I know what it feels like to feel alone and like everyone is against you. I am glad that her and a few others checked up on Sherry during that time because I can only imagine the kind of hate and shame she must have been experiencing and feeling. Hopefully, everyone has healed with time.
Heidi confirming what I suspected all this time! SP was definitely who they originally wanted to crown; Ms. Goode would have been crowned if she didn't break the rules of the finale. That said, Jaida is the rightful winner because she didn't assault anyone or break the rules.

In my opinion, I still wouldve loved to see the original edit where Sherry wasn't erased. While I know what she did was unforgivable, I still would've loved to see her art.
Also the fact that it's edited version it makes it seem so mysterious and forbidden. It feels like there is a filmed alternate reality where Sherry didn't do the things she did.

I don't think them retracting their initial support for Shark-Sandwich Pie qualifies them as "fake". There's something a lot of people go through that, when they find out something damaging to their image of someone they used to care about or think highly of, that causes them to go through the same stages of grief as many other instances. They may look back on their previous relationship with that person through a different lens, and they may regret a lot of the support they initially gave them. It's like going through the Denial and Anger stage of Grief in that way. It may happen that, if any of the above were asked about this situation if Joseph or anyone else asked about them, they'd give a more candid or thorough answer regarding their feelings for the situation, especially now that some time as passed and they've been able to process and accept things more. I just imagine that it was a lot for them to go through, and they said the things they did in the midst of processing their feelings. I wouldn't say that's the same as being "fake" though.

I'm absolutely all for second chances in life, but with drag you're in such a public space that I think shouldn't be yours if you abused that space before. I'm all for the person behind the drag persona getting a nice 9 to 5 in a cute home with lovely friends and family, but I absolutely don't think they deserve to be in the spotlights, a place they abused before.
