    Egils, do you always choreograph jive combos into combos that fit into perfect 4 or 8 beats to match every phrase? I never see you use four 6 beat patterns in a row (24 beat phrase, ready for an 8 beat ending). I can imagine how this might benefit dancers on the competition floor, where the judges are looking around to see which couples are the most musical. The social swing dancer who can react to the musical breaks instantly may react that perfect 8's is a less realistic way to lead and follow, and too predictable. Curious what your opinions/reasons are. Thanks Egils. Definitely enjoying this series. 😀

      I think for competition dancing 8 beats phrasing is very beneficial and that’s idea of these choreographies. For social dancing especially for beginners in social dancing phrasing isn’t priority.
