- My Osmo Pocket accessory mount arrived so Nate and I went out to have a little fun crawling. Really enjoying what the Osmo Pocket can do while Nate and I get used to it for filming. Try it! Crawling is so much fun. There is a big challenge with it too. I probably crawl more these days than run fast RCs. ;) I think you'd really like it.

This is good on so many levels. The terrain is perfect for a good crawl, and the sunshine helped to warm my bones in this cold winter we are having here in the UK. The music was relaxing and made me feel very cosy while watching tucked up in bed. It's a great showcase for the Osmo which takes fantastic crisp footage and looks very stable and easy to handle. The Bronco is such a good looking RC. The Sunset model is possibly one of my favourite Traxxas, and the FJ is one of the RC's that has been in my "basket" so many times, but I haven't managed to click the button on it yet. This video could be the one that makes me take the plunge. Is this one still all stock? I bought my WW2 because I enjoyed your recent video so much. Watching your channel is getting expensive Omar lol ; ))
Lol, I'm sorry I'm costing you money Derek. The HPI is a very capable crawler. Both units are bone stock as of right now. The only thing the HPI needs is a better set of tires. It doesn't hook up well on my rocks. I'm so happy that you enjoyed this video. The Osmo is becoming my go to for recording slow RCs. Appreciate you bro and hope you are doing well.
@@theibault Problem solved. HobbyKing have reduced the CC-01 Toyota FJ Cruiser Black Special from $264.03 to $116.73 shipped. That's less than a third of the price of the HPI in the UK, plus of course it's a Tamiya ❤ lol. It comes with an TBLE-02 ESC and a TLU-01 light unit and led's. I've just ordered one. I realise it's not as capable as the HPI but I can use the body and wheels on my MST CMX chassis, which is much more capable than the CC-01. Then I will sell the new CC-01 chassis to recuperate part of the cost. I already have four CC-01's, and one of them has all of the Suspension link upgrades, Servo and steering link upgrades, bearings, 55T motor and Hobbywing ESC. It just needs barrel springs and it's sorted as far as I'm concerned. I love a plan. 😁 👍🏻

Nice video! Stumbled across this while looking at the TRX4 platform, and the HPI Venture has been on my list as well. We have a FJ Cruiser (are in the Springs, and I sport pumas too), and ultimately decided to go with the heart on the HPI Venture FJ Cruiser. I must admit the Bronco behaves more scale (not sure if it's the heft and shocks or both). Great stuff and thanks for sharing.

The little acc mount was $12. Needed it so I could mount it on a pole. ;)
@@theibault I clicked on one of the kinks on the video and a gimble came up. That was i thought was a lot of money :-) 12 bucks is not.
@@BasBoyRC Yeah, the gimbal itself is not cheap lol. For people doing crawling videos, I think it's a better alternative to a GoPro.
