Jessica Loo Yea, I noticed that too. However, keep in mind that it is rather difficult to squeeze an entire novel into a movie format. Overall, I’d still say that did a pretty good job. Also, I actually like the change they gave Hillari. It made her seem more...Human? Idk, I just always felt like Hillari in the book was too much of a teen Disney villain. I really like what they did with her. I absolutely adored the movie as a whole.

The slap would have been rough, these are real teens, I suppose other teen movies with 20 something actors would have been permitted, point taken on the other scenes. I'm sure that they followed the book when making the movie, but Grace did say some scenes were cut. Other that those issues, I loved the movie, wow real teens playing them selves. Not to many teen movies can say that!
But an adventure by Grace Vanderwaal, with a lot of talent and a great interpretation every day that passes, she grows more and becomes a complete artist, sings, plays, composes and interprets, her work is beautiful, congratulations and "success always"! !!

Also it's awesome that Gus Fring is playing Archie!
i loved the movie *spoiler alert* in the scene in the car when leo, the teacher and susan are driving to the speech competition they had to change it because A: it’s a disney film and B: the scene was literally susan flirting with leo holding his hand telling him she loves him and mr. mcshane just being uncomfortable 😂 *idk why, but i found this funny* 😂 edit: now that i think abt it,, the movie really cant compare to the original book- but yk ahaha

As a Grace VanderWaal fan, I naturally wanted a little more focus on her and a little less on Leo. But hey, i can't really complain.
Looking at the background of this set might make a lot of people think that thosw cacti in the background are all over the west, when in fact the are mostly only in Arizona and only at certain elevations do they grow naturally. Nice background though.

I recognized nearly every scene they were shooting. It's like they just copied and pasted the book straight into a screenplay format. I'm SO EXCITED
