    If you miss out on a popular sneaker to wear for yourself, buy a replica. They are literally produced at such a high level that it's absurd to even consider purchasing a sneaker at resale value. The quality control, even on Nike's official pairs are barely discernible from those produced out of a 3rd party factory. Supply of these products does not favour you, and that's by design.

      Fake shoes like to throw the name UA (Unauthorized Authentic) out there to make it seems like they are more legitimate than they are. Maybe some are truly made in the same factories but most of the time it’s not. Fakes have gotten good with sourcing materials as the real and have gotten better overtime. Usually when a fake shoe drops for the first time it’s usually off & they hone in on the details with updated batches. So to say they made in the same factories with differences to be corrected later on is hard to believe.

      Hes mention in the video that he has no hate on people who wear fakes or how they spend their money. It’s not illegal to own fakes, you just can’t sell them. The thing with fakes is they are not usually made in the same factories. The AJ1 silhouette is not new. These factories been making them for years now so they been getting it down. When new colorways come out they are good at sourcing materials that are comparable to retail. You can tell some of these so-called UA shoes are not made in the same factory. It’s just too odd to see them make a mistake or get the detailing off for one shoe just because it’s not authorized by Nike. Replicas is a huge business in China and it’s 2020 and they have gotten better. If you seen any of the early mockup for shoes, these same factories tend to jump on making them ASAP in hopes to sell and make profit on the market but then slip up when the real official shoes drop and you can see its an entirely different shoe.

    I’d actually argue that in many cases (especially in the last couple of years) the top quality fakes have been superior to the real deal.
    For example the toe boxes on my legit Travis 4’s are FUCKED (super boxy on the left and crooked on the right) compared to the replicas my mate bought that are perfect.
    Could say the same thing about every Yeezy release for the past 2 years as well. The 350’s especially are identical.

    One thing I feel like people overlook is that if you buy a "UA" or a fake pair, it's unlikely you're going to get anything close to the $100 - $200 price you paid. Of course, this isn't an issue if you're looking to keep the shoe forever, but just one thing to consider for the people out there are thinking about going the UA route. I only have a problem with those who are trying to sell fakes/UA as real, and I really like your card example because people these days are like "well why does it matter if its the something."
    Honestly don't care if people wear fakes anyway (especially with the resell prices these days). Personally, I'd go that way too if I was just solely into how the shoes looked and wasn't a collector/only wanted stuff that was authentic.

    Selling them as retail is not the issue. Your dead wrong when u say they aren't the same. There is a difference between fake knock offs that are cheaper quality and UA. If u get them from the right place there is 100% no difference between UA and retail. I bet you 5000 bucks if I had the best UA and a retail pair u could not tell the difference. Sometimes in fact the best UA will be better in quality. Sometimes a good UA will have nicer leather and will not smell like glue. It will smell like leather. You are just not tapped in to the best UA sellers. I have no problem with nike getting cut out of the process because they are paying slave labor for these shoes to be made and are ripping our mouths out . And the resellers on stock x are doing it even worse so I dont agree with your stance on this subject. Not saying people should charge crazy resell prices on a UA but some of the things u are saying is wrong. Nike does not have 40 to 50 bucks per pair in costs. If u are going to make these videos u should do more research as to facts. Nike has about 15 or 16 bucks total per shoe in them. They are paying about .45 cents labor per shoe my guy. U guys doing these videos need to educate yourselves in the difference between fakes and UA. Also alot if time UA pairs are flawed retail pairs that just didnt pass quality control and were supposed to be destroyed. I dont have a youtube review channel and I know way more than u do about the subject. I have never sold a UA pair either so anybody can save their comments saying I'm just saying all this because I sell UA. I have just as much of a problem with you making money off videos telling people things that are not true as I do factory's selling UA and telling people they are UA. Sorry bro I dont feel bad for nike being cut out of the process or resellers losing money because people are being educated on UA sneakers. I have retail pairs that look like dog crap and UA pairs that are flawless. Please do more research on the issue. I can gladly send u links to people that sell the best UA if u wanna do a real review.

    • @heskicks
      @heskicks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      How long have you been educating yourself on sneakers? You will believe the same screenshot of labor cost breakdowns on the web, those are accurate either. Cutting Nike out isn't the only reason to not try to pass off a fake as real. They may look like the real thing, they are not. If you bought a signed kobe rookie card on ebay and found out it wasn't really signed by him, how would that make you feel? It would suck. So my audience might be broad for the video, but the intent is to reach some people that might be the one buying a signed kobe card and having them THINK twice before they buy. I have probably 20 pairs of high quality fakes that are supposed to be 1 to 1 that everyone says are so good, but every single pair there are at least 1-5 obvious variance in materials used to prove they are not made in the same batch (1 to 1 materials) that Nike sneakers are made from. Resale isnt the enemy, even if it sucks paying $1000 for a sneaker you struck out on. The market value of that is controlled by the market, same as anything else. So a knock off so someone can wear a pair they liked for a fraction of the cost is a solution for those that want that but arent about that. I just dont understand why people want THAT so bad, why not choose something else, there are 1000s of sneakers that drop every year.
