To be honest, Duffey is dealing with a “has-been” momager, who wants to relive her dreams-missed opportunities through her daughter.
It’s actually gross, anyone with a genuine intelligent mind and discernment can see right through the creature.
Someone always has to be extra for the cameras, creature seriously was jealous & angry she isn’t in the position Duffey was in. Otherwise why the unnecessary attitude.

Exactly because even with group auditions they have the other group remain outside and then once everybody has performed then individually people are told if they made the cut or not (sometimes they’ll tell people altogether which is fine) but Duffey communication was awkward and a little rude as well

Especially in regards to the dance audition. It’s 2 “judges” but a room of dancers, how are you even assessing them accurately? Dancing near/on one of the dancers but not the others…tacky. Like Tami said, letting the dancers know who you like and who you don’t in front of everyone is weird lol. Even when I auditioned/tried out for school performances or teams, the auditions were individual or had no more than 2-3 ppl at one time. And I don’t think judges are supposed to show favor, bias, or dislike for those who are auditioning so overtly
@@ceciliao4208 professional auditions can go either way but there are plenty of dance auditions that people dance in small groups like that and they call out the numbers they want to stay and see more of and they narrow it down until they have what they need.

I’ve been on auditions when the casting director straight up called the agency for more dancers while I was still dancing. I’ve been on auditions where the director told me in my face, “why are you dancing like a white girl. You’re not white.” I’ve been on auditions where they said “we’re going to need someone sexier”. And you know what, it didn’t phase me because that’s the nature of the beast and at the end of the day, their opinion meant nothing. I just stepped up my game. I would rather know that upfront than sit by the phone hoping.

This reminded me exactly why I did NOT like Duffey back then because I couldn't remember why during the current episodes. They could have left her off this season honestly.
Why didn't Tammy just tell Duffy she no longer needed her services over the phone. Why even have her come the style session and create a negative moment when she knew Duffy was going to feel some type of way and say something. Then to put to her hands on her pushing her out what do think is gonna happen.🤷♀️ It didn't have to go that far. I love me some Tammy but that was only thing I didn't agree with... In Portugal if I was Shaunie when Tammy got up & walked away I would've left with her if I was concerned about a fight breaking out.😒🙄 I would've left with my girl made sure she was straight 1st & then come back to the table is all I'm saying.

As even when I used to audition in early 2000, it was exactly the same back then.
They had loads of us in a room and: audition begins. But I do think Duffy was a tiny bit sharp/ course in dismissing the auditions.

People really need to stop with the light skinned/dark skinned crap, I was always told that I thought I was white, talked white, so I started to wear darker make up to fit in, but I found out that it would NEVER be good enough, I was in high school then, I just was about being myself and I LOVE ME, we cannot change how people view us, we hurt too

Even had the audacity to call OG aggressive like her Latina BFF is any better. It doesn’t make her any less colorist just bc she gave them an opportunity. It’s about the treatment. That audition was a hot ass mess. And duffy is rude af and unprofessional for not taking constructive criticism or even being apologetic about tami not being happy about the audition. I’m sorry she should’ve got punched in the face for talking crazy.

It's clownish behavior to try to knock someone who has several degrees. I don't care if it's a certificate, license, or a bachelor's degree. People who have actually pursued a postsecondary education know how much money, time, energy, and sacrifice it takes to complete a program, even with C grade effort. Everyone disliked Duffy, I liked her. She pushed buttons and gave us an iconic moment. If there was no fighting and no drama on this season you guys would have been complaining that the show was dry. Fighting and drama is needed in reality TV. Jackie and Tami has to make sure you guys are entertained that's why they had to react the way they do.
