Hi Keith! I've been homeless for 3 years and having it rough. About a month ago I found your channel. The next day I went Home Depot and spent my last $100 and went door knocking. By the end of the day I had $450 cash and only did outside no ladder. All of this I do from my electric bike. Everyone is out in their yards starting doing their spring cleanup. So stopping to chat a minute is a breeze. It's been roughly a month now and got a really nice bank roll. Next month I will be buying a motorhome to put in a campground. I'm also getting a storage building and get setup for screen repair. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One more thing, could you share a "Scratch Waiver"! Thanks

Keith, thank you for your heart felt messages. I've been watching yourself and SteveO recently.
I'm very grateful for your thorough explanations and your ability to articulate and convey your thoughts on the essence of things, as well as your ability to tie it onto the surface and physicality of things as well.
And if I'm not mistaken your occasional reference to prayer and God (Amen) .
You are not only doing the community a service by sharing your experiences. But your deeper messages that can be applied to anything and everything are also noted.

I decided to start a window cleaning business last week and I gave my current job (I’m the director of marketing for a large agency) my 30 day notice and I’m going all in on this. I just purchased your course tonight and can’t wait to learn everything I need to know!

Hi Keith I hope your read my comment!
Hi Keith, I Watched your Video. I totally relate to everything you said. My husband and I are the owners of a Window Cleaning Business in Las Vegas for 15 years. Your video described me Jo the wife. I have a few employees and I only clean windows to help once in a while. The PTSD is from the customers. We have had large jobs that we charged up $3500.00 and because of our name they hire us. So been there done that. Thank you so much for this video. Now husband does not think I am crazy anymore when we have a customer that nothing will please them. I tell him we are not getting stents in our hearts over peoples windows.

Analyze your sales. If you have a hitrate of 100% on all your leads you’re probably too cheap 😂

Instantly reminded me of this one house. The owners easily had 5mil + in their driveway. Any ATV, Tool, etc that you could think of, they had. The house was 90% glass, waterfront, massive property. Like Walmart has nothing on this house in pure scale. Goats/Horses just chilling. Huge pool. 300+ panes of glass. You get the picture. Sent them a quote. "too expensive". "ok, cheers".

Hey Keith, new to window cleaning and wondering how flyscreens work? I'm currently knocking doors and wanted to know if I should remove the screens or if the customer should. I love in Australia and most screens need removal from the inside. I wanted to know because Im not sure if many people will let you go inside or if they feel comfortable with it, I'm also a bit scared since flyscreens are very fragile and I wouldn't want to break them. So if I get a sale do I ask them to remove it or should I ask them if I could do it? I also don't want to lose a sale if they don't want me to do it but they also don't want to do it because it would be too much effort for them. This might be overthinking on my end but would really like to know what real professional window cleaners like yourself would do. As Im currently only planning to do outside only as I've heard it's best to stay outside of people's homes in general especially if it's outside job only. Also I like what your doing!

Your focusing on the business side of things as oppose to taking pride in the work...
Although you still have pride in your work. But once you been doing this long enough
You prefer the volume as oppose to mansion...
    I get it...
    In and out

That makes a ton of sense but after somewhere around the 1,000th job I realized that the customers could care less if a robot cleaned their windows. They just wanted their windows cleaned.

What made you set your minimums and the radius? Were you that busy with smaller jobs? Did you do it when you hired?

    • @WindowCleaningBluePrint
      @WindowCleaningBluePrint  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

What made me set my minimums and Radius was due to YEARS of being overwhelmed with SO MANY LOW paying opportunities.

I personally love doing mansions only because of the $ lol. Last year in October (which was probably my most profitable week / month so far). I had 2 mansions and evening commercial work / smaller jobs on the schedule. I grossed close to $10k that week (5 days) with just me and my pops, helping me out about half the time. He could only help out in the afternoons. Then he went to Aruba and I had another mansion to do, that I landed. Boy if window cleaners underbid a mansion, I bet they'd want to buy a 6 pack at the end of the day and cry about it lol. I don't mind a lot of work because I know I'm making good profit. Just take on work at your price. One of the guys had his man servant reach out to me saying that the price is expensive and this and that but I held firm and ended up getting the job. If the guy has a gold framed picture of himself that was sewn by hand (true story) what's a $2k window cleaning quote to him lol
