Love the tree house!! I just wanted to give a little warning with the pulley basket! A little girl I know had one on her play house and when her and her brother were playing she was playing as a dog and put the rope around her neck, she was running around and then went down the slide and ran out of rope and she hung herself. Luckily her brother was smart and started yelling for mom who was just in the garden. They had to get scissors to cut the rope because it had got so tight! and she had to be resuscitated and be helicoptered to a hospital where she was resuscitated 2 more time in flight. She is totally fine now but I just wanted to share that so you can be aware with your littles!

I was inspired to grab some tools and get building! Seeing the joy on those kids' faces as they explored their new treehouse was priceless. It's proof that with a little imagination and effort, you can create something truly magical.😍🤩

Nice project. We have spruce area to create similar playground. Just to be aware - trees are living entities, they are struggling with external items put into their body the same way our bodies do. Try to keep woodchip under your fingernail for some time... ;) Therefore it is not nice to drill anything into living tree.

Took me a while to finally get around to watching this but I was looking forward to seeing how it turned out since you first shared about it. You did an amazing job, especially with all the little details you added. Your kids will really cherish the memories of this treehouse for the rest of their lives. Really great job!

Good Job with your 9 yo. We had shop in 4th grade and learned the use of simple hand tools. I still use the coping saw I got for shop. Two of my projects came home to roost 60 years later. Nice job on the build.

If your in a hot area ( and probably when your youngest is napping. Un less on the little slide, try to add a hose to make a water slide. Maybe put one of the blow up rectangle pulls under it. .

Looks awesome looks like that maple wants to crash down soon. Hopefully you too that into account. Mabel are notoriously weak especially once they get to a certain height.

Hey Melissa you did a great job on this tree house and I really enjoyed watching the video. What to add, I don't know, maybe a moat with some alligators. You got a lot going on there, I guess I like the idea of a zip line that sounds really cool. I know you'll come up with an idea to make that work.😀

2300$ for a slide, that's insane! When building my treehouse i decided to use that 2300$ to make my tree fort more enclosed/heated and added some expensive toys. I was going to DIY a slide, but then i found one for sale on facebook (from a school that was being torn down) for only 50$
