- IT'S FIGHT DAY! Today I have my first Pro Muay Thai fight here in Thailand.
It was only after the fight I realized just how much pressure was on me. Front of the fight poster, last to fight, finding out on the day I would be fighting a Thai and also finding out his fight record. Lets just say I was a little hesitant to throw my kicks.
I hope you enjoy!

I just been watching these Thailand vids amazing bro
Glad you're enjoying them! 💪
Was always gonna be difficult beating a Thai in Thailand on points but nether less, you did awesome mate.
If only I didn't find out his experience, I would have be able to be a lot calmer. I worried myself when I didn't need to be worried at all. Could have done a lot better
@@ForTheLoveOfFitness You did really good, I would say you did as good as or better than him if we were to remove style and Muay Thai scoring from the equation. It did definitely have a resemblance though to other westerners fighting in Thailand I've seen before. Where your MMA or boxing type striking seemed to shine through as you were doing a lot more punching than everything else. While I would say you land the more significant blows and stayed busier than he did, punches just don't score the same. I also agree that you looked a bit nervous so you were a bit hesitant to let your hands go at it made it look less fluid than you're clearly capable of at some moments. Awesome fight dude, I really didn't know who the decision was going to. I think you would have had a decision though up until the last round, gave him just enough to take it I think.
@KingdomКлюч thanks! I wish I could go back and do that fight again, knowing all this, haha.
Good job man!!!!
Thanks!
did it take long for your body to recover? You didn't look particularly bruised at all on the following day
No I was good, no pain or bruises. All the years of taking hits to the body has helped the conditioning!
@terryleighton awesome saga brother! Im a figther too, and i want spend a few months in phuket to fight, cuz in brazil its reaally hard to fight constantly and most of times u ain't win shit ($$). So how much time u spend to get your first fight? in 3 month of stay can i fight how many times? Thank you mate, keep up strong
Yeah spend a few months here its amazing. You could literally fight straight away if you are ready and could fight every week! Haha. Just have to find a good gym so they look after you! 💪
Subscribed to you
Thanks!
Awesome fight bro! do you get paid to fight at patong?
Definitely that’s why it’s professional. Probably like 2000-5000 baht.
You must be a top guy with a name like that bro!
Hahhahahaha! I've been told I am and you must be too!
Good fight bro , 6k for a loss ? How much would you get for a win ? & What’s the name of this place ? Thank you in advance for the answers 💪🏻👍🏻 don’t give up keep moving forward...
Same money for the win haha. The place I fought at? It was Patong boxing stadium. Have you been go Thailand?.
@@ForTheLoveOfFitness 6k in what value?
@@volvo9051 6000 Thai Baht
@@volvo9051 That's about £136.32 / $192.18 at current exchange rate. Though this video was uploaded over a year ago.
@@PaulSpinks tho i dropped my commend 3 monhts ago🤣 but anyway thats alot of monney in thai for winning a fight
How long you been doing muay thai?
I first started at 20, now I'm 38, 39 in August. But I was only consistent for 1 year, then did BJJ for 1 year, then MMA 1 year and then weight training FOR about 10 years. Started doing Muay Thai and Kickboxing but was never consistent until about the last 4 years where I started fighting
@@ForTheLoveOfFitness Awesome, thanks for the response. I turn 39 this month, and picked up muay thai about a year ago. The goal for now is to have my first smoker in a couple months. Anyway, great content, thanks for the inspiration!
@@ItsAllGood550 oh yes get on it! Train hard, train the hardest you've ever trained! Fun shit! Let me know how it goes! If you've hot insta, follow me there. @for.theloveof.fitness 💪
I thought that you had to perform a Wai Khru? is that not the case?
You don't actually have to plus I wasnt shown it. I do want to learn it
@@ForTheLoveOfFitness Good to know, thanks man.
Next time smash it brother, I just want to tell you keep train harder the one who sweats more and train more will always be victorious. Train 5 to 7H everyday live the dream as Muhammed Ali say I hated every minute of training but I sad suffer now and live the rest of you're life as a champion...there is no luck only hard work
Yeah I love Mohammad Ali and I love that saying! My mind will be completely different and my training is different so next one I feel ill do so much better+
@@ForTheLoveOfFitness that's wonderful you love Muay Thai so why not be from the all time greatest it's a vision then achievement...wish you all the blessings.
@@lionboxing55 thank you so much!
It sounds like maybe you over trained? Muay thai 6 times a week ? Strength 6 times a week? Wtf?
a loss is a loss. not acceptable.
คนไทย ต่อยแบบขี้เกียจ เหนือชั้น..
I wish I trained harder for it, would have took advantage 👊
