I was having a problem with the brass ejecting. Even took it to a gunsmith. Watched a Sabatti video talking about how the older models have problems with the brass hitting the turret above the ejection port. It didn’t seam to be happening on mine. And then I looked at the bottom of my turret. And there was brass marks. Had to go from high Leupold scope rings to extra high. And now it works fine. The only thing that I noticed is you can’t go to high with the cheek riser. Because there is not enough clearance for the bolt when you cycle the action. I have just enough adjustment so I’m not to concerned. The new models have a cut out in the cheek riser. My other Sabbati in 223 Winchester doesn’t require as high of rings. One reason is the turret is smaller on the scope. And the brass is much shorter in length.
There seems to be nothing wrong with the accuracy of that rifle,...or the shooter either. I am thinking of buying a Sabatti Rover in .223 caliber and looking at videos to see what is thought of this rifle. Thanks for this.
