Yup, moisture from blowing is some of the cause of the Oxidation that forms on the contacts of the ZIF connectors. But, we all did it... cause when the console wasn't working, what do you do? Knowing now, it has a lot to do with that NES Lockout chip. Also, should use regular unscented Isopropyl alcohol, just make sure don't get it anywhere near the label.
I always seem to come across that Stryder nes game. It must have been very popular at the time. I could never for the life of me figure out the screwdriver to use! They don’t sell them in stores? no wonder! I wonder if some of those cartridges don’t have years of smoke inhalation. Maybe tar. Wow that cartridge worked like brand new!
