ACTUALLY "succubus" translates to "to lay below" (submissive), while "incubus" translates to "to lay above" (dominant), and "concubus" means "to lay beside" (switch) :D We got it all mixed up because women are typically seen as submissive and men as dominant

So the lore for this series; incubi/succubi start receiving energy from directed emotion, but it’s a sliding scale. They’ll get some energy from wholesome emotions, but not enough from that alone to maintain their human transformation. To put it tastefully, the more lewd the emotion, the more energy they get from it
I can't explain how bad I feel for the poor demon. It's obvious he doesn't like what he is, it's actually feels like he's suffering more than anything. Your work is amazing! Would be interesting to know more about him. Like why he doesn't like himself or specifically what made him question himself. 🤔
Sorry for the slow response, just wanted to say it really means a lot to see people thinking more about these characters like this!
So this character started as a concept of a shy, introverted incubus, since the incubus nature would push him towards having to deal with other people which I thought was a neat source of conflict, but he kind of developed into a mirror for my own insecurities. Bearing in mind this was my first script and I never really expected people to ever listen, this was more a creative outlet for me because I liked the idea, so the character ended up being kinda personal. It's certainly possible to feel comfortable with introversion, knowing your flaws and managing them without them affecting you too much. The main thing he doesn't like about himself is I suppose the incubus side, since it's too at-odds with his loner nature, and he's trapped not really knowing how to deal with it

Now that you mentioned it. The whole character felt real and probably relatable to multiple people.
Seeing as in our world one can not live fully in isolation and will have to deal with people whether we like it or no.
The awkward side (or awkwardness) of him being uncomfortable with his own 'negative' or 'flaw' side was delivered so well that for a moment I thought I was talking to a real person. That also speaks volumes about your talent, specifically your ability to deliver emotions through your voice. (The voice itself is very charming? Nice? Hmmm alluring let's keep it at that)
I've actually watched (listened?) multiple of your videos and almost every single one hit some sort of emotion.
Alot of instances felt like the real deal. I could clearly see the character's expressions during the given situation.
If you're adding some of your own experiences (or traits) into the given character that only makes them flourish more.
Honestly, this is high quality work.
