You need to keep all rubber seals coated with silicone lubricant and use graphite powder in all lock cylinders as part of your routine maintenance. When I worked for GM we did this on all vehicles going to the east in winter. Good luck.

Thanks for the great reminder .. I actually did so regularly on my last van .. I agree - works great .. this year .. I became distracted with other things and got caught : ) Cheers!
