I have noticed that since you guys changed to audio only on TH-cam I get so much more done. I don't feel the "need" to stare at the computer screen for the duration but can clean my kitchen (as one example) while still listening to your podcast. I love this new version way more!
Respect for walking away from social media. When I do it a about once a year for a period of six months sometimes more, I return even more creative than before. It‘s actually unbelievable that you really put your money where your mouth is.
I'm sooooooo disappointed to not see you all anymore. I really enjoy not only the banter and convos, but also visual reactions and body language. Very sad.....

What cool timing! Recently I’ve felt a massive conviction to stop shopping online and get on a better page with my husband with our budget. I got in a bad habit to buy whatever popped in my head when I had my last baby and realized I needed a bunch of stuff. And mind you, I’ve been minimizing our stuff for 5 years now. I would block the websites that tempted me the most. But I’d unblock them when I felt I needed something. So I decided it’s time to cut the ties. I deleted my Amazon account, target and Walmart and Etsy accounts. It was like stopping an addiction I told my husband what I was doing and he is cheering me on. After I did so, something one of my kids needed came to mind. Someone provided us with that need and I didn’t even tell that person of that need! I believe God truly does take care of us with what we need when we trust. And letting go of my reliance on online has really opened my eyes AGAIN.
Cluttierbug just did a really good podcast about FRICTION. but, I the opposite way - how even the simplest friction keeps us from doing our to do lists. It’s an amazing talk.
I really miss being able to see you guys, I now feel compelled to multitask while listening. Just kidding but it used to be like a *moment* for me to sit down and watch the podcast.
Wonderful episode! May I give some feedback to Josh, cause I admire that he is so open to feedback so hopefully he will not get upset with this: I think the phrase "I took TK and Malabama to the shops", I mean just the "I took" instead of "we went to the shops with...", sounds a little patronizing and "I am their boss"ey, we are not equal. I know you are a great boss to them though, Josh, it's obvious. Thank you guys, loving what you do! I read "Love People Use Things", so good👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Lot's of really excellent and useful ideas here. But making a case to justify charging €18000 for a table suggests that you might have been gaslighted by that shop keeper 😂
Here's the perspective ref: 1st question: when online shopping, we shop pictures, not items. Why do we crave pictures? Isn't it like picture consumption on fb, insta or pintrest? I've been guilty of that too, but now more aware of it.
So you did not get off social media. You just removed your faces from it. (I don't mind myself, but that is not really getting off of social media, is it?)

Im glad you like it. I miss the subtle nuances of seeing someone react and speak . Subtle body language says so much.
I miss seeing them too!
I like that i’m not focusing on the screen I can kick back and just listen and get other things done there’s freedom in that thanks guys 😊
Just like going back for delicious second-helpings on Thanksgiving, I'm here again for this very minimal and timely podcast.

Holy smokes! The first ten minutes alone are packed with enough information to be seriously dangerous!

There you guys are! I missed you in my YT feed. Thank you for today's information.
That first question is so relatable.
Exactly what I needed today. Thank you! ❤
Nothing to see made me get off my butt and do things while listening. TY!
Are guys coming to Europe ? Would love to see you all in Paris 😊
Hope TK is still wearing the purple tracksuit in this episode.

I love the audio only !

Josh likes handcuffs☺️
😘

That bouncing M is hugely distracting
Why exactly do you propose a millionaire's hour is more valuable than a poor person's? A bit annoyed midway through this episode tbh.
