I wanted to ask when I can expect visible results from PRP therapy on my knee. I'm 3 weeks in and I'm not seeing much improvement. Is there a specific amount of time after which I should see improvement or does it vary for each person?
Thank you for giving me this information."

Would you recommend this for patellofemoral pain syndrome? I’ve done PT for months and my condition is only getting worse. Can barely walk without pain

Does this work for a thickening of the synovium, leading to fluid buildup? This was offered as an alternative to plica surgery.

@@shameemkauser3009 the first 2 days after the injection was terrible. I walked out the clinic on crutches because of the pain. I was prescribed tramadol. But after I gradually got better, Im able to walk without pain but doctor recommends I stay in a straight leg brace until Im fully healed. I’ve been doing physical therapy to strengthen the muscles in my leg.

I did plasma for my knees, I have a little roughness
My weight is approximately 68 lbs. Do I need to walk lightly every day and do knee exercises?
Is walking and exercises beneficial or harmful to the knee?
Should I continue taking nutritional supplements for the knee?
Please let me know and thank you

I'm not a professional either and please do not take this advice, it's just my personal experience, which can maybe help comfort you that there is a solution. Please contact a doctor for professional advice. I've been advised to do exercises that strengthen the tendons and workouts with light weights, to gain muscle. The more muscle you have and the stronger your ligaments are, the less pressure is going to be put on your joints = less pain. I have taken supplements, which DO work up to a certain point, but it's not going to replace a healthy workout and the food which can give you the right nutrients. Also, my last ortho doctor said that walking is fine, as long as it doesn't hurt.

Wow mine was SO much faster, I was sick watching the needle get wiggled around in her knee. The needle was in my knee just a few seconds, no pain but the immense pressure behind my kneecap left me nauseous for several hours. It is for a meniscus tear and I’m doubtful it will help much, but the doctor pressured me to do this instead of just fixing it with a small surgery. Kind of feels like a way to squeeze more money out of me, but maybe in 6-10 weeks I will be proven wrong.
