I remember when i was watching the case files of richard jewel, it talked about why diamonds are what's advertised as what you need for a wedding or engagement. I suppose it's because one specific or a few unnamed companies have been able to control the jewelry monopoly for so long, they've been able to stack up so much commercial value to diamonds that they aren't even particularly valuable. Many other gems, jewels and stones would work much better in portraying feelings of love and adoration than diamonds, but since diamonds have gained so much commercial value and popularity they've just become the standard. So there's a little lesson for you, i mean hope y'all find it at least interesting!
I agree. I wouldn’t be happy if I will given some diamond jewelry as it’s very cliche to me but I will accept nonetheless. I just really hate diamonds and prefer stones like sapphire or rhodonite.

I had a crush on this one girl and my tiny elementary school mind thought this one rock shaped kinda like a heart was the best way to tell her...I remember panicking and hiding out in the science class until recess ended after giving it to her

Ok this was perfect, now all we need now is a part two to continue off into the future where Traveler has moved away and Tenya has vague memories of her but still has a strong love towards her, then on the beginning of class one day Traveler enters the room as a new student, over the years they had gotten older so they don't recognize each other right away, but after a few days Tenya starts to form feelings for her all over again, so at the end of the day while cleaning the classroom he tries to confess his feelings to her but she cut's him off admitting she likes him back but loves someone else, she shows him her necklace and tells him the story, and he can't believe it, Tenya pulls her into a hug Traveler ask's what's he's doing but he suddenly kisses her lipps firmly yet softly and the whispers on her ear koo.
