Just wanted to let you know that my entire household has the intro to your videos stuck in our heads "hey everybody hey everybody it's Brock it's Brock"
I got that fish it’s a baby but can I keep it with a flame angel Mine is with corals he’s not eating it he first was but you have to buy sushi seaweed that you can buy at the store for 1 dollar and I always give my normal fish flakes and 2 days later he was eating flakes to!
Just was surprised with a bicolor angel today. I was thinking about getting a flame back angel. Would that be ok with the bicolor? I have a 55 gallon tank.
My bicolor has a super personality. He thinks he’s a cleaner wrasse, always checking the other fishes skin. I have a butterfly that’s has a chronic Lymphocystis Virus, and the bicolor keeps the problem controlled. Also when I put my hand inside the tank, he loves to come and look and pick dead skin! He goes very well with all the mates in the tank, he just hates the blue damsel, because she gave him a hard time the first day he arrived, and now it’s the opposite lol
Hey I just got a bicolor angle fish yesterday and this morning I was on its side under a rock, I thought it was dead. But it started moving, but when it calm down it started again Any advice?
Could just be adjusting to the tank and that is where it feels most comfortable. Make sure no other fish are bullying them to hide and also make sure they are still coming out to eat. You might need to spot feed near that spot.
Sorry Brock, I've done seen tins of your videos. I even look for them when I Google search a fish. But I didn't realize I wasn't subscribed. I fixed that. Thanks for all your work 👍
I got mine a week ago and it hasn't eaten anything that I know of. I feed frozen brine srimp, mysis, emralde entries, algae wafers, sea weed sheets, etc. Very varied diet no luck with any of it. 90gal tank all parameters spot on. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi brock if I was to get two angelfish can you put them in separately ot would you recommend putting them in together at the same time which is difficult as the fish shop don't always have the two in stock at the same time thanks
I just got one a couple days ago. He’s been doing great. The guy at the pet store said not to get a flaming angel or coral beauty with him because they may fight. From your opinion, is it okay to add one of them to the tank? I believe the guy at the pet store said the coral beauty gets really territorial and aggressive. I just want one other medium size fish to add in my tank. Thanks!
Levi Kittrell Well if you want two angels in a tank together, you want the tank to be big enough. I’d recommend atleast a 55 before adding two together :)
Will a small one be fine in a 29 gallon well I run my display empty for a few months due to ich. It will also be housed with 1 Royal gramma, 2 clowns, 1 pearly Jawfish. I already have all of them just wondering if he will get too aggressive in a smaller tank. I already treated them for ich with meds for a few weeks the display tank just needs to run emtpy to kill off the remaining parasites.
Hey! Thank you for the video. I bought bi color angel today, I have yellow angel n koran angel in my tank. Yellow angel is giving hard time to bi color angel. I put bi color in an isolation box. I have 110 gallon tank. Thank you in advance
hi brock your videos are really helpful for me. i have 2 questions. With what soft corals can I have the bicolor angel without the angel bothering them? and if i have this angel can i put a french angel, yellow tang or fox face after ??
Intangible Coins You could add those fish with him depending on the size of the tank. The best soft corals to get are ones like Star Polyps, all kinds of mushrooms, anemones are another route.
Brock Leonard is this size good enough for Small 1-3/4 and Medium 2-1/2" i just want to make sure this fish will eat i’ve seen some blogs that they dont want to eat and just died
How is the bi-color angelfish with other angelfish? I have a Coral Beauty right now but I saw a Bi-Color in my lfs and I want it. I have a 75 gallon tank.
SSEEAAAHHHAAAWWWKKKSSS RULE!!!!!!!! A 75 is normally big enough for two angels of that size. I’d watch for aggression from the coral beauty at the beginning though.
My coral beauty did the same thing when I bought a yellow tang and sailfin. He was acting like he wanted them out.. Then after a few hours he ignored them.. The next day they swimming together like friends.. But now I ordered a halfblack angel and gonna get a bicolor and an empereror this week.. Gonna see how this goes 🤷♂
@@BrockLeonard Apparently it’s true. I have also seen Captive Bred Colin’s Angels, hybrid Lemonpeel x Half Black Angels (naturally occurring), and Multi-Bar Angels! For larger angels I have seen Goldflakes, Majestics and Blue Lines. :) Scribbled too. :)
Tyler Buckingham As long as he seems happy and eating well, then he should be okay. He is going to grow tho, so you’ll need to think about upgrading in the future :)
Hi..One week ago I bought bicolor fish.. it’s swimming well in the tank .. he is not shy that much.. but not eating. whenever i put small pallets or flakes he show interest but wont eat. Please help. I always watch ur videos before buying any fish. Thanks :)
abhijeet S awe thank you so much for watching!!😁 but give him time, angels tend to graze so much on the rocks that they don’t want to eat when you feed, but he will eventually. The angels we get up at the shop always do this.
Brock Leonard mine is being very shy and not seen much eating, only had him for 2 days ... this is very encouraging. He is a beautiful fish ... I’m hoping he starts eating soon
Just wanted to let you know that my entire household has the intro to your videos stuck in our heads "hey everybody hey everybody it's Brock it's Brock"
And do they need algae to survive or just to keep up there colouts
Are they compatible with clownfish?
Yes because they are not Angels.
I'm getting two of these in a few days

Yes, you could pull off them two being together. Make sure they are both well fed to avoid aggression.

Is it at least picking around the rocks? Sometimes they find food on their own in the tank.

Add the small first, and then a bigger one. Don’t put both same size
I just got one bro I love this little guy he is territorial he took over the rocks
I picked one up today. The LFS had it labeled as a "Mac Bi-Color" Angelfish.
2:04 Max Size: 6"
2:33 Colors 2:41

@@BrockLeonard thankyou Brock i will start with that i believe a tourch also would not be a problem. My tank is of 60g
Hi brock can you put this bicolour angelfish with a flame angelfish
hi, brock just a quick question what is a decent size to purchase a bicolor angel small or medium size?
George T I’d say small.
Brock Leonard is this size good enough for Small 1-3/4 and Medium
2-1/2" i just want to make sure this fish will eat i’ve seen some blogs that they dont want to eat and just died
George T oh wow that is really small. I change my mind, get the medium.
Brock Leonard alright thanks a lot brock by the way i’ve seen some video bout bare bottom tanks what do you think?
George T Not something I’d do.

@@BrockLeonard what kind of "pods" should I get for my angelfish?
just got my little bicolour, my coral beauty doesnt like him at all? only been in a couple of hours. should they get used to each other?
andy o'sullivan Yes, the original fish will always show dominance at first, but keep feeding them and they should calm down. Keep me updated.
@@BrockLeonard thanks for the advice. bicolor all settled in. part of the family. my coral beauty ignores him
andy o'sullivan Yay☺️

Don't mix these with Arrow crabs. I put an Arrow crab in with mine today and the Bi-Color had crab legs for dinner.
Could I keep a flame angel and bicolor angel together in a 55 gallon tank if I introduce them at the same time.
AquaticFury You have a real good chance that they will do just fine.
Can you put a clam in the tank with him
Right now I’m seeing Captive Bred ones in my part of the world. :) not sure if they’re from Bali Aquarich.
No way! That’s amazing 😄

@@BrockLeonard thx you got one
So I can keep them in a 72 gallon tank?
Ben k Oh yeah!
Can I put him with 2 tomato clowns Brock ?
Yes!
Thanks Brock, and you don’t suggest if I have a few small frag corals ?
can i feed them plankton instead of algae
Yes
I’ve been trying to reduce KH by doing water changes for a while now. Do you have any other tips of how to reduce them?
Johnny Carreiro are you topping it off with dosed fresh water?
Brock Leonard no I do water changes 2 times a week so I don’t really have to
Johnny Carreiro sometimes you just gotta let the tank run its course and let it decrease itself
Hey I got one in a 20gal with a clownfish the guy at store didn’t tell me much is that to small of a tank
Tyler Buckingham As long as he seems happy and eating well, then he should be okay. He is going to grow tho, so you’ll need to think about upgrading in the future :)
