I Am fascinated by Kowloon Walled City. I think it is because I find microcosms amazing. I would love to go back in time and visit, but not sure if I would feel completely safe. There were wonderful communities there, but if you didn't know where you were going, you could get so lost. The little film we have is wonderful to watch though. Great video!
Just finished watching "Twilight of the Warriors:Walled In" movie!! Awesome movie!! One of the best to come out of Hong Kong in recent years. Great story, great directors, great actors, great action sequences, great cinematography, great production sets, and great score!! I remember staying at the Regal Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong back in 2010. Wasn't the greatest hotel. But, when you stepped outside and walked across the street, it is a beautiful oriental garden with pavillions. This was the site of the actual Walled City of Hong Kong. After it was torn down, the garden and pavillions became the replacement. This movie certainly brought me back in time!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Agreed with Alec. This parks highlights a good amount of history of the area and it’s just intriguing to see how it transformed to the park it is today!
I am here because of Stray. Nice game btw. I must say when I saw the architect showing this cool city it was so much more interesting now rechecking on wikipedia that they made changes and I see this! This is a park now? What a crappy park! Not even the monuments was nice way of showing how cool it was before. At least in game Stray you can "walk in and" see for yourself how it kinda was. "Twilight of the Warriors:Walled Im gonna watch that now see if its the same like the city was before. Cause this was a letdown! They could at least made a remake instead of a sort of down grade. Like cut one block, rebuild, modernize with solar panel etc and also more plants so it could breathe in this used to cramped area. This is kinda the same stupidity like the tunnels in Gothenburg. First they dig tunnels for pretty much nothing, then they realise oh no ones wants to live underground and there was a war coming this far in to the city so yea lets take some of the parts and fill in the rooms so it gets more pointless and also put a locker on the door so no homeless can be there either.

I think it's worth a visit. The Kowloon city area also has lots of interesting small restaurants too.
